Some items on the list are incorrect.
You seem to forget the 60gig was the sku with all the bells and whistles. BC, WiFi, Memorycard reader. There was only one version of the 60gig, and that by far was the most feature full sku of all the recent ones. Good thing I got mine at launch.
It wouldn't be that bad if the developer can plan on having a HDD to buffer data from, but thats a lost cause for now as well.
The newest issue of gameinformer had a rumor that Rockstar has been asking MS to grant them special permission to require them to release the game with the HDD being mandatory for GTA 4. So far no permission has been granted so well have to see how it plays out.

Min specs for respectable performance (well for any true gamer anyway)
should be a Duo core @ at least 2.4ghz, 2 gigs of rams, and a high end DX9 or DX10 card.(Nvidia 7800 - 7950, Ati 1800 - 1900, or the higher end Ati 2000's or nvidia's 8000's.) if you can run crossfire or SLi on these cards even better. Anything lower then these specs is a crap shoot.

Colors of the buttons really don't matter all to much, for the most part it's a cosmitic feature to help the end user. As long of the buttons on the guitar match the input on-screen everybody should be able to get used to it.
quick question. Whats to stop Bungie from making a sister company and make games for different platforms_ Cause it seems with the new independance bungie can find ways to make games for any system they want, if they so choose.

It's understandable how many of the fanboys want to defend or attack sony for their pricing tactics. But the one thing that has remained is that Sony never has more then 2 sku's out at once, and if they do they are getting rid of the previous sku. First they had the a 20 and 60 gig sku. Then they sold off all 20gigs and then introduced the new 80gig. Now it seems they have gotten rid of the 60 gig replaced it with the newer 80 gig. Now they introduced a 40 gig sku. I too bought my PS3 @ launch, but how do you feel screwed. At launch I had Resistance, Need for speed Carbon, and NBA 2K7. Few months later I had Motorstorm and MLB 07 the Show. After that there was a big drought, and now I have warhawk and Heavenly sword is on the waiting list, much like uncharted, Ratchet and Clank, Rock Band and other games that will come out in 08, Mainly (for me anyway) MGS4 and Killzone 2. All the problems you seem to have with Blu-ray are nobodies fault but your own...

I really expected those numbers to be higher, like somewhere in the 4 million range. Those are exceptional numbers though. very few games can even compare to launch numbers like that. The wii will win this holiday season. I know Sony has a bunch of big name games coming out, but Nintendo has a new Mario and super smash bros. game on the horizon. These 2 games with a low price make it the perfect Christmas gift. With no GTA 4 I don't see how MS can hold up their numbers through the holidays and since neither GTA, MGS or Gran turismo will show up this holiday season for the PS3, I don't think they have enough to warrant a $600+ Christmas gift.
