Might just have to buy me a 360 for that. I am not much into the Halo franchise, I thought 1 was Good but I thought 2 was just more of the same only you got to hold 2 guns.
But so far everything I have heard about 3 is really making want to play this game. A CO-OP feature seems like a good idea.
I might just have to break the Piggy to buy me a 360 with Halo 3 when released.
The soonest we will see it is this Thursday as that is the day we usually
get new games and demos. But it could very well not show up until early to mid-August when since the game is due out sometime in September.
If it were up to me I would've released it during E3 after the press conference, but thats just gamers logic.

Epic is already doing UT3 and that looks awesome. Killzone 2 is coming and that looks great as well.
not to mention we also have Drakes fortune coming to the PS3 and while not in the same environment as GEARS it does share a lot of the mechanics seen in GEARS. I'd rather Epic give the PS3 something more original then a Gears spin-off.

This is a hard one based on the video cause the video itself is pretty lame. From what I have been hearing on G4 Halo 3 is gonna look simply stunning. I'm not a Halo fan as I think the games are way overrated but just looking at all trailers has me wanting to play this game. KZ2 for sure simply cause I have been waiting since 05 and HALO 3 is a definite possibility in a future gaming rotation.
We need to wait for both to games to be released before we pass a verdict .
I thought the game shown was pretty good as shown. Having been part of a team on some beta projects you see a lot of this. It really doesn't surprise me that there are still bugs left in the game considering that the build they showed us was probably close to 3 months old. As far as NCAA 08 I wish it would run at 60fps but seeing as the college game in real-life is slower then the NFL anyways it might not feel that bad.

Am gonna play a little devils advocate. Yeah Sony can't control third party support and the lack of games that comes to the PS3, but they need to come up with better third party Dev tools that allow faster access to the power of the consoles they put out there. All first party titles shown at this E3 were F'n amazing and so were some third party ones. But for those third party titles that did look great they admitted as well as the developer for said game that they worked together to achie...
IF this game, killzone 2 and MGS4 come out either early 08 or holiday 08 that might be the point where you see the PS3 catch-up and maybe surpass the 360 in world sales. Those 3 games will make NA and europe want a PS3 and MGS4 and GT5 will drive the Japanese Market into a frenzy. I don't see the PS3 surpassing the 360 in NA but in total worldwide sales the PS3 will more then make up the slack.
This is great news for the PS3, as far as sales go cause god knows they have been struggling in that department. But amazon holds a little more yippie!! factor for me, considering CompUSA just closed about 3/4 of their stores nationwide.

It is missing that CG glow of the 05 trailer, but the 07 video has surpassed the massiveness when it comes to overall quality. The Enviroment are more detailed and there is so much more going on in the 07 video then in the 05 trailer. Yeah, Ill admit that some of the textures and even colors look a little bland, but IMO if they had kept with the smaller scale of battle from the 05 trailer they would have surpassed the trailer by now. Despite Cliffy being a win/MS guy I really respect this guy. GeOW was a game that I was looking foward and almost bought a 360 for, but since it's coming to the PC I'll just play it in full on my PC.
Now cliffy all I ask is if you can try to at least give us some PS3 love.

Anyway codemasters has been on of those companies that gets little respect be Sony fans but some of their games have been some of the best looking (at those time periods) for a Sony console, starting way back when they were doing the TOCA series of race games.
is a franchise that has links with the PS2 and Sony for that matter but to put DMC in the top 3 is way off. I think Gran Turismo belongs up there before DMC, even GTA has more right to be up there then both.
