why the mario hate?? Those "kid" games on the Wii are really fun to play, when the time is available I find myself playing those games as much as the "M" rated titles, unfortunately GTA is not one of them (STUPID BILLS!!!!) but soon enough.
Just don't hate on a game because its meant for a younger demographic cause some of them like Mario are still very well made.
If that were to happen I'm pretty sure the NFL would step in, because right now with the license agreement as is, both the NFL and EA win.
But if EA were to make a console then just make madden for their console the NFL stands to lose more and EA will gain alot more for having the NFL license and I'm pretty sure like any business the NFL will not tolerate it in the least.

This game is a very unique take on the puzzle genre. And going from your GTA4 post throughout this site it seems you don't like that game either. So what that hell do you like?????

Why so angry THESWAT, its true, thats the main reason why intel chips outperform AMD chips, it has nothing to do with raw power because AMD on paper has been up there. But devs have an easier time with intel CPUs.
Think PS3 vs 360. On paper the PS3 is miles ahead of the 360, but most devs, especially multiplat devs prefer the 360 because of ease of use.

When I first started with the beta I was the same way. Mainly because I tired to play this game like Warhawk or CoD4, and if you do that all your asking for is a lesson on how to get killed spawn after spawn after spawn.

The reason it doesn't seem to be console related, is because the disc is actually recognized by the console. If it were a problem with the laser or HDD, first the disc wouldn't register and if it were the HDD there would be a yellow light at boot up that shows that the HDD is F*CKED.
Its a bad burn, go get a new disc and it should be fine.

Something happen when the game was being burned onto the Blu-ray. Stuff like this happens all the time, remember the 360 version of bully had the same issue. It sucks if you get a crappy disc, just take it back and get a new disc. so you have to wait a few hours get over it.

No game can ever claim to be the greatest game of all time, (outside of personal choices), but 1 one game can be the greatest for a time and right now its GTA4's time.

yeah, I used to love the TechTV version of X-play, G4 got it and it seems to be more about shock value cheap joke then the games themselves.
G4 took away X-play but gave me AoTS, Ninja Warrior and unbeatable banzuke. So its and even trade as far as entertainment value, but yeah the news they report is often late and has already hit N4G at least a day earlier, it seems like all they do is come to N4G rip-off the news and report it.
Oh well.
A 5/5 means nothing from X-Play, I mean when you give a game that is so fundamentally flawed as "No More Heros" and then turn around and give a masterpiece like GTA the same rating it just cheapens the rating.

Agreed the basic scheme of programming is the same for both, but like Deeznuts pointed out Intel is still in a sense using a X86 like architecture. While AMD is trying to go away from that in the sense on intergrated L3 cache and how the L1, L2 and L3 cache travels through the pipeline.
So yeah programming is the same but for dev's it is much easier to optimize for Intel chips than AMD chips.
