This is kind of a late story seeing as I already downloaded the MGS:DB on Thursday (the 19th).
You guys are mistaken if you think 360 lead means we are willing to settle for crap on the PS3. Which is not the case, we are hard at work so that both the 360 and PS3 look the same across both skus. We have an elite team of PS3 engineers that make sure the PS3 looks as good as the 360.
Yes, as announced, this game will be coming out for the 360, PS3, PC and Wii.

I'm going to disagree with you. The reason that MGS needs the "LONG" cut-scenes is because the world of MGS needs to be explained. There is no explaining just the world your in now or the world of MGS in its current state without losing something in the process.

I'm not much of a console fanboy, but when it comes to games I'm probably one of the biggest fanboys out and my choice for a console tends to reflect that. Right now most of the games I enjoy playing are only on the PS3, so there for I'm a PS3 junkie right now, in second place is Nintendo, then PC than 360. Thats just the way it is for me right now.

Sorry PSN doesn't charge you $50 a year to play games like Halo3 and Gears of War where your online experience depends solely on the host of each game. If thats your idea of a great deal, by all means spend your $50.
This is such BS, First off I have stayed off these stupid review stories no matter how good or bad they have been. But this is the worst explanation for defending a score ever. You're basically saying that you took away 2 points for awful glass, Because the animation argument is not even valid. This no matter what many of the nah sayers say is awesome. Does it have a lot of cut-scenes? yes. Does it have a tons of VO's? Yes. can it at times appear to be more like a movie than a game? YES!. But the production value, the whole package is what is measured in this game.
The sum of the game is greater then its parts. You can't just judge the cut-scenes, gameplay or VO's on their own merit because then you are missing out on what the portion plays into the grand scheme ...
