I hope this game is a success for Rare, because they were one of my favorite devs, when they were close to Nintendo. Then MS bought them and they have been stinking up the joint pretty bad, Minus Viva pinata.
Hope they can get something going and deliver fun games on a more regular bases now.

CoD3 I believe averaged 83 on Metacritics.
And as a developer just eyeballing the scores I say they average in the low 80's. with their only 97 score being for a port of Tony Hawk 2 for the dreamcast.

Pre-production of CoD5 didn't start until Q3 of 07 with development starting on it late 07.
