the thing is they are not using the lastest consumer drivers. When those drivers are released that should improve the performance that we have seen thus far from the 9800GTX2
I can't log into N4G via PS3 either, weird thing is I can log into badjoystick via PS3, but then I get logged off as soon as I come onto N4G.

On topic, Gameradar has never had that much credibility in my eyes and this story does very little to change that. What exactly are they basing this list on??? Is it the whole game or just graphics??? Or is it a list just so they can get hits from the fans of these franchises.

the cover system found in Gears of War is just a more refined system of that found in a old PS2 game called "Killswitch". So to say it was stolen is an error on your part.
EDIT: Killswitch was a Multiplat game published by Namco, but the part of the cover system still stands.
IF a game on PC runs at 30-60fps at 1280x1024 with everything turned to Max, I'm a happy gamer. Why does everything need to run at 2180x1920 to be considered a success.

If you buy the arcade360 and GTA4, your pretty much A$$ed out when it comes to DLC content since you won't have enough space to DL it.

Having key/mouse doesn't automatically make you better then those with a controller, you just need to have a fair amount of skill. Granted that the most hardcore of PC players will most likely wipe the floor ...
Actually graphic design, animators and video editors have their own cards on the market for their specific needs. these cards are really only meant for gaming. While they can be used for all mentioned above, that will only be useful for a hobbyist in those fields. true, these cards will certainly help in more ways than gaming, but professionals buy cards that are well in the range of over $2500.00 and for some cards thats just the starting price.

What your not grasping is the scope of what can be done with a PC.
You can literally make your PC run better by adjusting settings, you cant do that on a console. If a Dev makes a game on a console and it staggers to be consistent at 30fps, guess what your stuck with that.
On PC if you have a decent setup, you can still get a great looking game running at a good framerate if you know what to tweak, what to turn off, what to enhance, ETC.
People who stick to console ...
Wish I had a link, but their has already been a ugly dragon awaking with Peter Moore going to EA. and that is EA has agreed to sell MS more ad space in alot of their titles. This can only mean more of what we saw in Fight night round three. "Tonight's fight is brought to you by Microsoft and it 360" ".....brought to you by Zune" etc, etc.
I used to like EA back when they didn't own everything because they at least tried to put out a great product year after ...
Mr. Marbles as always your post shows how little you know, its not Sony's software that is causing the issues or PSN. Its just a business move. Since 360 users tend to spend more points (a.k.a. money) on DLC more resources are put into the 360 product. This is pretty much common practice in the industry from 3rd party developers, so please learn to investigate things before you go spewing hate over a product that you have idea about.

There is no doubt that GTA4 will sell a lot of copies on both console, I'll even go as far as to say that it will sell more on the 360, due mostly to the larger install base. How has the 360 surpassed the original XBOX, the first Xbox sold around 25 million the 360 has yet to reach that number. So one can assume that the install fanbase hasn't grown as much as one would like to think, since it has not sold as many as the first Xbox.

Most of the cost is R&D, $2500 for 11 inches is to steep, but there are those type of people that would spend it just so they can be one of the first to own it.
