Fvck EA. Buying out dev's and exclusives rights to certain licenses to widdle the competition is the main reason I hate EA. They have bought the NFL and certain NCAA license and have done nothing with those licenses except minor improvements while still charging the consumer $60.

Sony owns 10% stock in SE. They as a business have a bigger upside by expanding their product user base to include 360 users as well. Why only sell 2 mil in NA and Europe when you can Sell 4 million for a very small increase in your initial investment.
At the end its still a business.

Plus not all games have to reach all gamers, that has always been the best part of the PS brand, you dont have to like God of War or Ratchet to enjoy the system, but the system will have games that many people enjoy.
2008 E3 was not a failure it was just a repositioning year for the industry.
MS struck first with them attempting to appeal to not just the hardcore but also the casual. FF13 announcement to me was shocking but not something that would make or break the show.

Warhawk has almost no lag even, when I play on European servers. With the right network coding and dedicated servers this can be a hit.

Boycotting Square only makes this move more likely. If people refuse to by their products then it makes this move even more necessary to make up production money. Thats the main reason why you see alot of Videogame companies make the 360 sku the main sku when developing. The 360 sells more then the PS3 when it comes to games. If PS3 fanboys would just put their money where their mouth is, instead of being whiny little b!tches when something like this happen maybe that would be more incent...
I for one am glad this is coming out on the 360 for two reasons.
1. This will show foreign companies where the 360 stands on the world market not just North America. If FF13 fails to drive up sales in Europe, U.S. and especially Japan, this will be a tale-tell sign that the 360 as a brand doesn't mean Jack. This game has to drive 360 console numbers and the game must sell at least 1 for 1 against the PS3 version for this not to be seen as a failed moved by Microsoft.

only for FFA do I agree. If somebody on FFA is good enough to rack up kills then that should be enough. plus when in FFA attempting to get the Air strike or Helicopter just promotes camping which I hate with a passion. But during Team based battles I am all for perks/rewards for getting kills.
I wasn't gonna say anything, but since when does CoD4 run on dedicated servers for a console? Have you ever been playing a game and all of a sudden you get "HOST ENDED GAME" or once you finish a game you get "LOBBY CLOSED". If you say no you're a liar. Both 360 and PS3 do P2P for CoD4 MP.
The only sony games that run on DS are Warhawk, Resistance and I believe Motorstorm. To my knowledge no third party MP game runs on DS for either 360 or PS3.

As a gamer I think Sony had the strongest showing as far as games go. They announced and showed so many games that are upcoming for their systems PS2, PS3 and PSP that I'm glad I have a PS3 and PSP.
