Sound in any game is probably the most important part.
Imagine firing any weapon in any shooter and the sound coming from that gun is "MOOO!!!!!!!!" or when in a dark room you here a chair move and it sounds like water dripping.
Sound is a very important part of any game, while I don't think R2 suffers that much when it comes to sound an "8" for sound is pretty low.

Having been able to play some of it, Zombie mode is pretty sweet.
It starts off really slow but once you hit level 5 thats where all the fun stuff starts to happen.
I believe it starts slow, so that players can build up some points to buy weapons so that they are not completely over-whelmed when the real action starts.
All IW did was make a great engine. Everything else from coding, animation, story, sound, design, production and everything else that was done for the game was done by Treyarch.
Thats like saying that EPIC did most of the work on Last Remnant because SquareEnix used the unreal engine for that game.

I am normally in line with EA hate but this year alone, while they have release some stinkers, like Facebreaker.
How can you be mad when they have published Burnout Paradise, Spore, Dead Space, Rock Band 2 (if you like RB) and soon to be released Mirrors Edge. That right there makes me think EA was milking their well known franchises to save up and release great games like the ones I mentioned.

STFU already, who cares about review scores. I played MGS4, Drake, Ratchet and Clank and many other games that ranged in scores from perfect 10's to mid 6's from reviews. Who cares? Those games were really good and no matter what anybody said about them I played them and enjoyed them. I suggest you do the same, cause all your whining is getting really lame.

On topic I played the demo setup at my local best buy, this game is really fun. I Prefer it to Rock Band. I like the set list better and the instruments are better for a game, especially the drums.
Most likely gonna pick up this set of instruments and wait for the the Drum patch (PS3) and play Rock Band afterwards.

Honestly, I wish sites like metacritic didn't exist. Because then we wouldn't have all these lame ass reviews being put on these sites to show how game A. is superior to Game B or vice-versa.
I played through most of R1 and I just started playing Gears 1 on PC (Target clearance gotta love it) and both games are really good and also very different. Both games are fun and the production value shows depending on what aspect of the game you are looking at.

I am surprised by the score somewhat, but they have explained why they gave it the score they did. R2 improved on R1 but in doing so they lost a lot of what was in R1, mainly the Ratchet and clank style presentation.
it seems that R2 is more heavenly scripted kind've like CoD4 which is fine in the sense that CoD4 is a great game but if I want to play CoD4 I'll play CoD4. MP and Coop seem to be the Steak in this entree, which is a good thing, means you get more out of your $60. ...

I honestly don't see the problem. If Halo 2 and 3 are always topping the online charts then other devs better start cracking on how to make an awesome online experience. It looks like IW and Epic responded to the challenge and they have been rewarded with having their game join the list of Halo as most played.

I can get through CoD4 in under 4 hours if I rush through it. So I guess that game is a flop as well huh?
Also Do you know how long people have to practice to get through MGS4 in under 4 hours? I know somebody who did it in under 5 hours, but it took him about 20 hours to get that done, cause he kept fvcking up.
