The game will look great on both platforms.
360-owners have nothing to worry about, it's not like you'll get a botched version.

I assume they're using updated version of the same engine as last game, a modified version of Sony's free Phyre-engine - that will port over well to other platforms, atleast other games using that engine (like the first Dirt-game, Gripshift) prooves that it's a great multiplatform-engine.
The latest Phyre-engin...

For me the press-conference where a dissapointment, I expected abit more non-kinect titles with proper gameplay shown, atleast one new IP, especially since they've not shown anything new for allmost two years.

The best showing (at Microsoft) where without a doubt the multiplatform, Tomb Raider, in my opinion..
The worst part where the endless droning about how fantastic it would be with Bing, a search engine. :P

SCEJ's offering of PS3 games in WelcomeBack weren't as awesome as SCEA's or SCEE's, but maybe they went for titles wich should be more rare amongst the consumers.
I guess the highlight is Patapon 2 on the PSP. :)

I like both franchises.
Sure, all future games have the potential to match Uncharted in experience.

If it will do that for you, is a different matter tough.
I think Lara Croft has allways been a pretty cool characther to play, I'm really excited about the next game.

Especially due to the fact that Square Enix has a whole different standard with cutscenes compared to Eidos.

The main problem, I think besides the grap...

Well, besides Turn 10 and Lionhead, I don't know any gamestudio wich have lasted, or thrived, at Microsoft.

Something tells me their not giving the people working for them enough leash to do their job, making new IP's or more build on their old ones.
Or if they do, they're not good at hiring the correct people to do it.

I really liked Ensamble, their PC-studio wich did the Age of Wonder-games, those were fun..
As for the res...

No, he said what the last game were really bad, when it were released, he said back then that they might have killed the franchise.

The games back in the day wich he wrote were gems, but I doubt the N4G-crowd knows the difference between Al Lowe's Larry, and the later ones.

Better looking women through technology, great slogan.. :)

Am at work, couldn't enter website due to virus on the page, might be pop-ups/adverts, since I've never been infected from that website before.

Anyway, as for OtherOS on PS3.
Sony did not remove it for breaching into RSX hypervisor, the people who made the Linux-distro for Sony added support for the memory on RSX.
After that they/hackers claimed they wanted access to 3D hardware accelration of GFX.
This they didn't get, or build. They ...

Heard good thing about them tough. :)

Great show as usual, really liked the interview with Stewart Gilray.
Fun to hear about his problems with the texture, kind of strange that there isn't a tool somewhere in their toolchain to automatically check all the 12k textures. :)
Great idea about having him him sit with you for an entire episode.

I think it will be good, my friend who like online-games, said Slant Six's Socom turned out pretty good in the end. Even tough he's not that much into tacticalshooters, he stuck with Socom for half a year.
And Slant Six' PSP-games looks pretty good aswell.

I do think that they will be able to make a cool tactical shooter game in the Resident Evil universe, but I don't think it will be the same success as the main RE-games, but I'm pretty certai...

Ain't a XBox-owner, myself.
But I don't think there is any point of stopping prooving themselves.

Sure, they are in a better position, but there is lots of stuff they can do to improve their console, stop ripping of their customer-base.

Most importantly, they need to show the world that they can match both Nintendo and Sony on both price and quality of online gaming.

They have a good service overall, many people prefer ...

You'll get it for free as long as you download it with a PSN+ account during the time it's promoted. :)

If you join, but do not download it druing the promo-time, you'll miss your opportunity.

It were allready sent to the store wich I had preordered from when the catastrophe happened, so I got it on original planned release in Europe mainland, only had time to play 4 hours so far, the game is superb. :)

I think it were delayed because of something said in a cutscene rather than the ingame earthquakes, or more likely, a combination of the two, it will probably come out as soon as there is no danger for something bad happening to Tokyo. :)

First of all, the game were allready shipped to mainland Europe stores when the quake happened.
And I also think it's only been confirmed to be delayed for UK, and Japan. US release were allways planned later.

Second, I think it's pretty poor taste to make a blog and get hits for stuff like this.
You can't turn back time and stop the shipments.

Personally I had it preordered, so I got it in the mail today. :-)

I'd rather have a version of Opera than Chrome.
Opera has it's own servers around the world for compression of webpages, so that way we should be able to load more webpages with compression, so with a few tweaks of the browser, memory wouldn't fill up as quick as the current browser do, the pages could be shown in Opera Markup Language natively. :)

I doubt his or his opponenents next campaign-speach will be about videogames. :-/

To be fair, even tough Japan is in the future.
I'm pretty sure that this guy don't have a time-machine, so to figure out that there should be a earthquake a few hours before a old interview gets translated and posted on N4G, is perhaps asking to much. :-/ Usually hardware just launch a half year earlier in Japan than the rest of the world. :-/

I like Killzone best, sure it's probably not as good graphically as the other two on really high end PC's. :-/
Not really sure if it got better gfx, as God of War 3 either.

But I do like the complete package you get in a 1st person shooter on console, looks really fantastic on the big-screen while playing, the different enviroments, and lots of different weather, and the animations, sense of weight, etc. makes it feel really great. :)

That's not correct in the case of Sony's MLAA.
I assume that you think it blurs some of the textures, like Intel/ATI MLAA do.
Joker said the same on the Beyond3D forum, but TB/Tobihas Beghoff - the one who is in charge of said it were not the case with Sony's version. Hogs abit more memory tough.

How they do it, is mostly all under NDA now, but it's in Edge Permance Server-tools, so it's probably not that long until the third party devs...

Dosn't every other store sell it for 40$?

Atleast I got it right under 400 NOK instead of the normal 600 NOK list price, as new games goes for here in Norway., if you don't look around for the cheapest options
Assumed it were because they push Move with this title.

So if Amazon is using list price 56$, and takes away 20$ if you use it within their store, you only save 4$, compared to other stores.

That is if you also pl...
