Yeah.. I saw a website wich calculated it together in Japan-store, it went up in up.. Prices became basically the same, if you bought cards in retail, and games at PSN-store, than just retail-disks.
But you can backup your card on PS3/PC or Mac, and then fromat the card. :)
So as soon as you get a few titles, you will save money online.
(It's not me who clicked 'disagree' with you).
Yeah, they would profit.
But they'll profit more selling proprietary format disks.
We do know the SD-cards are different due to security-measures.
But I also think it's to encourage more retailers to push the device - some retailers refused to sell the PSP Go, since they couldn't sell games for it.
And my usual shopping place, still dosn't take pre-orders for Vita. :-/
Sony is pushing their digital store rather hard, compared to certain handheld competitors.
With cheaper than RRP, day-one games, aswell as exclusi...
The markets has divided abit, japan is more into handhelds nowadays, while the west are into HD-consoles.
And JRPG publishers makes games for the market wich will give them the greatest profits, unfortunately for us, it's allmost impossibhle to make the big bucks on handhelds in the west. :-/
I think that this is a great idea - in the US. :)
How the PS3, wich got atleast one monthly high-quality exclusive game, do in the US; compared to the 360 wich get like 2 yearly high-quality exclusives, shows that games dosn't matter as much over there.
And since the Vita only have like 25 high-quality games at launch, they need something other than games to show off aswell, to get the people indoors and check out the device for themselves. :)

Really interesting blog/diary aswell, nice to read about the going on behind the scenes of services like Wii-ware, PSN, and Steam. :)
The stuff about Wii-ware were especially sad reading, they didn't see any income for allmost a year until they reached the minimum amount of sales needed to get paid. :-/
I hope they change that kind of policy, small devs have it hard enough as it is, with tough competition from bigger fish.
Why not just make s...
The 4GB card for Xbox 360 costs 10-15$ more than Vita's 4GB card at launch. :-/
And if you're a PS+ subscriber, Vita can backup games and saves to the PS3 while you sleep.
Sony Media manager for PC is also free, but then you will probably have to hook it up to the PC manually.
So it's not a big deal, using a small card.
Just out of curiosity, what's your favourite part of the E3-press conferences?
Gettiong to see the media from the new games coming, or getting to see the sales-charts, of how much everything sold?
It's about 10 more new exclusive IP's coming at december 17, aswell, and a few the 26. :)
As for staying competitive with new exclusives IP's, the one we've seen on 360 this generation are probably over as MS-exclusives..
Maybe we'll see another Alan Wake, and Crackdown.
But I'm abit doubtfull.
Other than that it's only Halo, Fable and Forza on Xbox, wich seems like viable exclusives, but those are from la...
You don't need to buy a game for it, if you wanna save some bucks. You can start playing at launch, for free. :)

The 25$ 4GB Memory stick at launch is 10-15 dollar cheaper than the same size Memory card for 360 today, depending where you shop for your 360-card, and allmost no media-sites complain about that. :-/
And you can even set your PS3 to transfer saves and backup games automatically while you're sleeping..
And also a PC-app will be available before launch, if you don't got a PS3.
It's not like you have to buy several storage-cards.. It's o...
The XBox has a health warning.. 3 red lights, it show them to you WHEN it die! hehe..
Also the dashboard is full of comercials even when you pay for gold membership.. :-/
So there is alot of crap on 360 aswell..
And it's pretty neat to be able to customize more of our Playstation Plus features. :)
So if you don't want the suggested demos to automatically download while you're sleeping, or don't want autopatching, or firmware, t...
Author makes some very good points. :)
Also even if we were gaming 5 years ago - we might not have heard about, or had time or means to pick up those games back then. :)
Too much simulation, too litle game - makes divas in Smackdown vs. Raw unusable..
Back in '08 or '09 atleast we could set up mixed exhibithion matches if you wanted to pitch a male CaW against a female one..
But that hasn't been possible ever since..
Every year they nerf the divas more and more, so it's really pointless to have them in the wrestling simulator anymore.
Would be fun if they could allow us to make our own match-rules. Now ...
Opera is by far the best browser.. :)
It makes everything so much easier and faster.
If you close this tab and hit ctrl+z in opera, it will magically return..
While all other browsers havn't discovered this 20 year old Undo-feature, there you have to hassle about with the mouse through various menus, and rarely you can undo more than one action.
Download a torrent-file, all other browsers goes searching for your torrent-app, while Opera as...
It's nothing wrong with beeing dissapointed in the ending if it's bad at casual.
However, it is incredible dumb to pretend that there isn't a good ending aswell, when beeing informed about it, if you play on normal settings.
The game should have informed him about it when he selected the casual mode. And the score shouldn't be changed if that's the case.
It's nothing wrong with changing the review wich has errors in it...
It's not possible on 360.
There you'll only get half the games, andfor some strange reason you have to rent online access.
While Uncharted has free online play through the power of PS3. :P
They can't port that feature, even if Naughty Dog and Sony did have a 360-developer and publisher license. :P
Definately my most anticipated game.
I've passed over 1000 reallife hours on X3 - Terran Conflict. :)
Interplay sold the right to develop single-player Fallout games to Bethesda, but they had a agreement that Interplay would make a MMO in the Fallout univers.
Bethesda wants to make their own MMO, so they go to court to try to stop Interplay from making the one they had agreed to.
They also sued Interplay for selling the 3 best Fallout-games in stores like gog.com (Good Old Games), just to make it harder for Interplay to get funding for Fallout MMO.
Media needs to stop reffering to trolls like Pacther as analysts.. The quote about PS3 owners not want to buy Vita for Uncharted is ridickolous, especially when he said but they might want Gears or Halo..
