The only next-gen game we've seen from PS4 and Xbox One, definately couldn't run in current form on PS3 and 360, without drastic downgrades.
And due to the fact that it were allmost year before the game and consoles release, I'm sure that we'll see lots of improvements.
Personally I didn't like Xbox One reveal at all - but I loved most of the PS4-revveal. But both Xbox One and PS4 is a very big upgrade from current gen, in regards to hardware.
It's might be perfect timing.
If the movie is as good as the games, alot of people will love the movie. And by then PS3 will probably be pretty low priced, if parents want to buy the platform they can get 5-6 R&C games for their kids, and the Bluray movie offcourse. :P
Nordic Games bought up JoWooD and Adventure Company, and it's properties, it's a new company not the same, I think.
The devs NG are working with is different I believe.
The Farm 51 seems to have some talented people. Did some outsourced work on The Witcher games before they've grown enough to start their own stuff.
Will be interesting to see how Deadfall Adventures turns out in June.

I would think that Amnesia is old enough to be covered by the 'in a while' part of his statement. :)
Kind of lacklustre list, lot's of titles forgotten.
Killzone: Mercenary will be there aswell for the Vita, other new PS3-IP's like Rain and Puppeteer too, if those aren't released by then.
Konami is there, so we will definately see MGS.
Yeah.. Lot's of experimental strange stuff coming out in Japan on PS3 this generation.
That garbage-collection game, inspired by tetris and lumines, Q-Games had a few games, and Tokyo jungle, that game where people are making a snake travelling to other planets realtime, etc.
I can't imagine stuff like that get greenlit by western publishers - but in Japan, publishers and devs have more faith in consumers might be willing to try more strange things. :)

I hope that David Cage and Quantic Dreams continue to make the sort of games he/they wanna make, and the kind of games his fans wants.
Because they are pretty much the only ones making those kind of games, atleast with some sort of high budget.
Then gamers who enjoy his games can continue enjoying his/their games, and idiots like Paul Butler can continue writing idiotic articles. :)
It wouldn't hurt if he did watch the segment he were going to comment toug...
I'm not that excited for the game, mainly because
Everything I've seen or heard about it is on coop..
Really good games other rave about, like Borderlands, dosn't interest me, I'm not a person who want to depend on other when I got time off to be playing games.
I'll most likely buy it tough, because I loved both of Insomniacs last two franchises, Ratchet & Resistance.
Personally, I think Insomniac is amongst the best developers...
I didn't discover the franchise until yakuza 3 (a very good place to begin, since it has videos explaining the basics explaining what happens in the first two games).
I had allways heard good stuff about it, but didn't try them out for myself.
I bought Yakuza 3, but it arrived simultaneously as another game, wich I tried instead, and it ended up laying around unopened - until I finnished Sleeping Dogs and talked about Sleeping Dogs on a forum, and didn't r...
It's not Sony who has failed to bring us games, they've made alot of Vita-games.
If you look in US, at SCEA-titles, they allready caught up to Nintendo on 3DS with retail-releases (not counting stuff like Escape Plan, Sound Shapes) with one year less on the market.

The free games on PSplus is just a bonus, it's the day one discount's and sales wich makes the service pay for itself, several times over - if you're semi interested in digital downloads. And those are yours forever.
PSplus is a subscription service wich offer access to content worth usually around 2500£ each year.
The game rentals on PSplus wich you call them, is basically the same as your XBL Gold membership.
However the main differ...
I think it looks like a decent batch of games:
- Sleeping Dogs 83 at metacritiq.
- Lumines: Electronic Symphony 83 at metacritq.
- Quantum Conundrum 79 at metacritq.
- WipEout 2048 79 metacritiq.
- F1 Race Stars 61 at metacritiq.
I only have the Sleeping Dogs and Lumines: ES, both wich I really liked. :)
I've been a member since day one.
I shop spontaneuously every once in a while on PSN, so I'm pretty sure that the extra money spent for a PSN+ subscription I earn back on extra discounts.
If something goes 10, 20, 50 or 75% off for regular shoppers, it tends to be a step higher discount for PSN+ peeps here in EU, in addition to lower prices for many games wich isn't lower for non-members.
The 'free' games is just a bonus for me. :)...
Virtua Tennis on the Vita is better than the console-versions, mainly due to much faster loadspeed everywhere, when loading matches and going to swap out your clothes and similar.
I'm a huge fan so I double dipped. :)
It's higher resolution on consoles, but the small screen on the Vita half a meter away from my head makes it look just as good as it does on my TV.
Also on Vita (and other Android devices with PSM) Sony do actually give away a weekly free...
Been looking at the Sony Rewards website..
And I agree, there is a huge problem with this stuff.
Mainly that these kind of promotions beeing in United States of America.
I hope Sony Japan get's less desperate, and moves this stuff to Europe instead. It looks fantastic.
I'm kind of jealous..
Hopefully they look at Playstation All Stars, and steals some of the cool features like dynamic levels based upon the games, and the way the characthers takes stuff out of their games, and use it in battle.
i.e.the latest DLC-characthers sounds pretty cool, from Starhawk, you get Emmet and put out guns and stuff in the enviroment, and can build more and more stuff depending on how much Rift-energy you collect, i.e. they brought the Build'n battle-system from Starhawk into the PSA,...
It's not about beating GTA, it's about beeing a fun game on it's own.
This is optional features, it's idiotic to complain about..
If some people think it's more fun to beat up someone with a bat, instead of a giant purple dildo, they can do that.
But if people think it's more fun to beat someone with a giant dildo, they can do that.
I think very few people would think this game would be more fun, if they only had one op...
The Vita device and especially the software wich has come, isn't a dissapointment for me personally.
The quality of games is very high, with very few exceptions.
Gamers who don't buy this fantastic device have dissapointed me much more, especially since it's often packied in with PSN+, and members get roughly 100$ worth of games in your instant game collection, in games I would assume most people want for the device anyway, a new Uncharted-entry and Gra...
I tought it were fantastic. :)
Storywise, it depends alot on your own imagination, imagine a good story from the clues, it have a good story.
Imagine a bad story, it has a bad story.
The coop is also similar, imagine a good friend, your playing with a good friend.
Also the recharge jump-scarf function by sticking close to your friend is genious, it encourages people to stick together.
It gives you lots of memorable experiences b...
Prefer Playstation, and what he's saying is true.
But despite the fact that the RAM itself is pretty cheap, it would also be extra costs in regards to cooling.
