I stand corrected. Apparently I didn't do my homework very well. :\ I wasn't aware they were released through the Virtual Console service. My apologies.
@Summons75
But... you're wrong. The 3DS port you're referring to is an enhanced remake of Ruby and Sapphire, which are third generation Pokemon games. The originals (first generation) are Red, Green and Blue. They're also 20 years old, so it's unlikely Nintendo is still making a profit off them.
I'm all against censorship, but this begs the question: If they had censored Zangief's bulge, would it receive the same outcry?
I'm with you. As a backer myself, I'm not expecting anything more than the rewards that are promised with my Kickstarter pledge. If they want to throw in anything extra, cool. If not, cool. Only self-entitled babies are crying about this.
Parasite Eve was so awesome. I've heard great things about Fear Effect, too. Oddly enough, I have it in my collection but have never gotten around to playing it. :\
I was one of those who prematurely judged the new Dante in DmC, but I finally bought the Definitive Edition for PS4 earlier this year and had an absolute blast with it. The new Dante wasn't so bad, either. He actually grew on me.
Admittedly, I haven't played all the classic DMC games (yet), but I'm familiar with it enough to understand some of the complaints about DmC. I ended up buying the DMC HD Collection for PS3 because DmC renewed my interest in the franchi...
Inside is a great game, but I have to agree. I wish journalists and critics would focus more on being objective and less on being subjective. Nobody seems to check their facts these days.
Being that this is a comparison between Inside and Uncharted 4 -- the former currently being a Xbox One/Windows exclusive and the latter being a PS4 exclusive -- this is obviously click bait.
As Elie Wiesel once said,
"We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. The opposite of love is not hate, it's indifference. There may be times when we are powerless to prevent injustice, but there must never be a time when we fail to protest."
I feel like this can be applied to consumers as well. That doesn't mean gamers should act like self-entitled ...
We see violence in everything now days, and a lot of us have grown desensitized to it, but the majority of us don't go out there and reenact it because we're not sociopaths. Some people seem to think that these sociopaths are incapable of coming up with this stuff on their own, but I assure you, if a developer can come up with these ideas, so can a deranged individual. It doesn't really matter where they get the idea from, because they're going to hurt someone regardless. It...
Buying old games isn't as fun or economical as it used to be. At least here in America. I remember buying factory sealed games from eBay back in the early 2000s for $5-20 before the retrogaming craze. Now, if someone gets lucky and sells something for a ridiculous amount, everyone quickly follows suit thinking it's actually worth that much.
It's not just greedy sellers, but naive buyers with disposable incomes that keep inflating prices. It's one of the few ...
God, I miss real journalism.

Well said. Those complaining about the teaser are the same people who claim to be "actual fans," yet they don't seem to know anything about what the developers have said about the final product. Ironic.
I've mentioned some of this in another thread already, but it bears repeating.
My brother and I used to rent a PS1 (before we owned one) from Blockbuster back in 1996 specifically to play RE1 all hours of the night. I've fallen asleep while playing RE1. I've played RE1 so many times, I could finish it without saving (no memory card). My fastest time with Chris is 1 hour and 28 minutes. And that's just my experience with RE1.
To assume I...
Where did you play RE 1.5?
EDIT: Nevermind. I Googled it.
Why console games tend to lack keyboard/mouse support is beyond me. It's not like it's anymore inconvenient than VR.
Who are you to assume what I want?
I've been a fan since the original RE1 on PS1 in 1996. Before we even owned a PS1, my brother and I would rent one from Blockbuster just to play RE1 all hours of the night. I've fallen asleep while playing RE1. I've beaten RE1 without a memory card. I've beaten RE1 with Chris in 1 hour and 28 minutes (not the fastest time, but still pretty fast).
Point being, I've paid my dues, Jack.

Supernatural themes are nothing new to the series. Zombies are technically supernatural, Wesker had supernatural abilities, etc.
I see nothing wrong with the series adding ghosts in the mix as long as it plays a part in the story. We know nothing about the ghost girl in the teaser.
Everyone with doubts needs to read this article. Now. http://www.ign.com/articles...
#4 should make most fans happy.
Furthermore, why do people keep comparing this to the P.T. demo? P.T. didn't create the first-person horror genre (neither did Outlast for that matter). You guys are basically flipping out over a tech demo that ha...
Maybe we've been doing it all wrong by killing him with weapons and magic. Perhaps we should try killing him with kindness next time around.
