I often think about times like that and how good we had it, before social media and smart phones gave way to a generation that expects instant gratification.
@Petebloodyonion You're only taking into consideration those who have already purchased the game. What about those who haven't yet? Or those who spend money on the DLC bundles? Now that there's AI-generated content in BO6, additional costs or not, you're now supporting those elements simply by playing the game, buying DLC, etc. I'm not saying there's no place for AI in video games, but there has to be some transparency about it. You can't just slip it into a AAA ga...
I hope for the day your virgin mob disappears. Then we can go back to enjoying things without everything being labeled as wOke just because it features a protagonist that isn't white/feminine/sexy enough.
It's the principle. Not only are you paying for something that literally took zero effort for Activision to make, but it's also potentially taking away someone's job.
Add it to the list of things wrong with this game:
- Bugs that haven't been fixed in weeks
- AW-like TTK
- Bad servers
- Little to no recoil on most weapons
- Ridiculous operator skins and advantageous bullet effects
- What flinch?
Can't speak for the campaign yet, but multiplayer is ass.
Now do PS5. 😭
I think the main concern is the ramifications GTA+ will have on GTA6 Online. Fans are already divided about it. Not everyone wants to pay a monthly subscription fee (that has already seen a price increase) for a $70+ game on top of already having to pay for PS+/XBL.
@BISHOP-BRASIL
I get what you're trying to say, but it's a false equivalence. Anyone could jump the fence and grab a jet back in the day. The dynamic changed once R* started introducing militarized vehicles, such as flying motorcycles with homing rockets, a stealth helicopter, and most recently, a stealth jet. There's so many militarized vehicles now, you really have to keep up with the latest and greatest in order to defend yourself from that shit, which is rea...
Why shouldn't this be news? If you play the game at all, you'd know this has been a problem for a while. Tell me, how is it fair for legit low-level players to be grieved by players using modded accounts with disposable amounts of cash? It's about time Rockstar did something about these losers.
@Crows90
No offense, but if you come off in voice chat the way you do over text, I can see why that happened to you.
Reminds me of the time this dude kept team killing me with careless Orbitals and Eagles. I wasn't the host, but I wouldn't have kicked him anyway. Instead, I waited until we were about to extract. The LZ was up on one of those perches with a cliff all around and just the one entrance. As the Pelican descends, I gun him down and imme...
Except for when their spit seemingly homes in on you, or they silently appear behind you like effing ninjas while you're occupied with 3 chargers. Might be a skill issue for some, but I don't suck at games by any means and even I think it's utterly ridiculous.
@EvertonFC
Video game preservation is important. Comparing it to appliances that are designed to break is a false equivalence.

"They’re the worst with dashboard interfaces."
The blades dashboard on Xbox 360 was the pinnacle of their GUIs. They've gone downhill ever since.
One of the greatest moments I've ever witnessed in my 37-years of playing video games happened while playing GTA IV, when an NPC tripped and accidentally shot themselves as they were tumbling down a flight of stairs. I haven't seen anything like that before or since.
The Euphoria engine is the extent of what I liked about GTAIV.
"this mod also has a low chance of removal due to copyright reasons."
Not sure how they came to that conclusion when the GitHub has copyrighted assets in the form of PNG files. Get it while you can.
When did people who never stfu about "wokeness" become more annoying than Vegans and Atheists?
I mean, that excerpt pretty much says it all. Thanks for saving me a click. 😂
Not when it's because it didn't meet some crazy margin. It's like if something doesn't make EA a billion dollars on day one (I'm exaggerating that figure of course), they swiftly put it out to pasture.
Incel outrage is one of the reasons gamers aren't taken seriously.
