Notch is a coder not an artist. Everything in this video is just physics and lighting prototyping.
It was Universal's license. It became Universal Vivendi's license. Then it became Activision Blizzard's license.
It hasn't gone anywhere.
The decisions are easy. If Sony can't make it happen with all their resources, they're in the wrong game. The world of technology has changed and past them by. They either need to shape up or ship the hell out. They're running out of excuses and delusional customers to accept them.
It seems to me that Sony still hasn't learned how to treat their customers or how to create a pleasant user experience.
It's a no-brainer that all PSP and PSOne content should be playable on Vita but it isnt. There's no excuse for that. All PS2 classics should work too.
Remote Play should be a functional option for every single game and feature that the PS3 offers but that will never happen for reasons I simply cannot understand. Some inevitable p...
Shock. The last game had broken voice chat that went unresolved presumably to this day. This time around I went PC and have no regrets (and much satisfaction).
Yeah.. the English version. See all the English?
Oh man my life has seriously been missing these classic style JRPGs. Can't wait to play this game.
Yes, in UK English (read: proper English), learnt is the past tense of learn. It's used widely in Canada as well. Personally I prefer 'learned' as it is a more consistent conjugation.
Mouse and keyboard are only necessary for a status quo MMO.
With a bit of originality, MMOs can easily be tailored to controllers and better yet, support both equally.
It does seem like a very poor time to release but they did have that "Summer 2012" commitment to live up to. And it would only get worse as it gets closer to the end of the year.
They really should have pulled out all the stops to make sure it released in August and I'm afraid the delay will likely cost them some sales until the next drought some time next year, at which time they would be wise to have a Steam sale.
Personally I've had it p...
Their first publisher was Universal
I wouldn't say it's the best. But it's really good.
I think there would very much be a shitstorm if it were exclusive to Xbox or PS3. I think you're diluting yourself by claiming otherwise.
I think it's perfect.
Bayonetta was a subversive indictment of its core audience, the basement-dwelling pixel jerkers. Nothing but shallow, borderline misogynistic pandering set to porn music. Really pushing the boundaries of what's acceptable in games and seeing just how feverishly the BDPJs would eat it up. And man, they ate it up.
Now they're seeing if they can push it even further by making the BDPJs buy entirely new hardware for their next hi...
@Chunky
Your loss dude. I sure as hell loved playing Atari and Coleco games long after getting a NES.
I suppose no one should bother reading Shakespeare, watching Ben Hur or listening to The Beatles.
Because people who missed out the first time deserve to have the great experiences of the last generation too.
I think it's probably a bit too general to say that JRPGs shouldn't be VO'd at all.
I think some upfront preparation by Japanese devs would go a long way in terms of localization. Some background tools to allow localization teams to edit lip syncing and time where necessary would help.
I think localization in general is poorly executed when it comes to VO. Resident Evil is pretty awful too. Metal Gear Solid has always given a high priority to l...
It's true, but it would makes sense for Sony by reducing complications anytime they want to go back and revisit the IPs, in the way they're currently doing with All-Stars.
Also, Spyro is worth a fortune right now.
@Lucreto
A game with that many guns isn't really suited to the hoarder mentality. You find the type of guns you want to use and you replace them as you find better guns to fill the same role. Though the lockers offered in the Mad Moxxi expansion catered a bit better to it. It was a poor decision to make it DLC. I think that's likely to be a feature of BL2 right from the start.
As for the story, that's something that was lacking in the first one an...
I enjoyed the phrase 'nether-sausages'.
