It's in opposition of Cliffy B.
So you don't want anything to set it apart from GTA?
You just want it to BE GTA?
That makes sense.
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.
We haven't had any MMX game since PS2.
If you mean PS1, maybe. Though I liked 7.
4 is certainly a highlight of the series, if not the best. I wish Capcom would put it on PSN already.
I hope Namco Bandai are playing this one smart and keeping the initial run reasonably small as Atlus did with Demon's Souls and 3D Dot Game Heroes. Both of those games turned out to be successful because of this approach. One of them turned into a smash hit.
It's a bit frustrating for consumers to have a hard time finding a copy if they sell out but it's still better than the publisher losing money because of unsold copies and killing any potential of a future for...
A very quick google search of "Sony Motion Controller Patent" shows these same images from as far back as 2008.
I already have better hardware than anything Valve will bring to market themselves.
But I will very happily continue to use their service.
I'm sure they're just fine with that.
There's a lot of stuff wrong with FFVIII. Most of it doesn't manifest until the third disk. The first two are actually quite good but the whole thing falls apart as soon as the third disc is put in.
The junction system is a broken progression system that discourages magic use throughout the entire game. That's ridiculous.
The characters, who are supposed to be elite military specialists are all morons, each and every one. Squall is an asshat from...
What qualifies as a good idea is not at your sole discretion to decide.
The problem with democracy will always be wading through the ideas generally accepted to be bad to find the ideas we can generally agree are good.
Really? I'm psyched about GTA V!
Just can't please some people I guess.
Well at least you live up to your name.
Quite a while ago, they put a post on the blog that very clearly told commenters to stay on topic. You didn't you got burned. Move on.
That would be unfortunate if not terribly surprising. Jeff's always been a frank though friendly voice of the community. He's willing to ask the questions people want answers to, even when those questions are awkward.
Like "Why should people care about your game coming to PlayStation a year late?" "What can you tell us about the performance of your game on PS3?" "Your previous installment on PS3 was known to be buggy, have you made any improv...
Can't understand how a character for an unreleased game is an "All-Star". Especially a particularly loathed one.
Should have been original Dante, a true PS All-Star.
Also the lack of Cloud seems really weird to me. To date, he remains on PlayStation hardware only. Yet somehow Big Daddy is there? Like, what?
Everything about it seems way nicer than the original. Looking forward to jumping back in and giving the new version a try.
That is a top 5 for a generation of gamers born in this millennium.
They're actually lucky they've managed to avoid legal repercussions because of that. At the very least you think they'd throw some horse armor at the thing.
While there's logic to the argument that consoles are niche, the argument is about as valid with any and all types of video game specific hardware and even video games in general. The term niche is a loaded term. One could argue that any given Apple product is also a niche product by the same token. Everything can be described as a niche product with the exception of water.
It's time for Rare fans to let them go.
They are what they are. They will never return to form. All the people that mattered are gone.
I don't think anyone wants to see Sony employees losing their jobs.
But it's easily arguable that lower prices lead to more sales (Steam proves this constantly). More hardware installed in more homes leads to more software sold overall. That leads to more license fees collected, more PS Plus subscriptions, more digital movie rentals, etc.
I'm not convinced that Sony's price model this generation has been exceptionally good business. If you...
How many were they expecting to sell? Honestly.
