Your loss
I was hoping Uncharted 2 would have such an effect. It has not. We'll just have to keep looking to Sony Studios for such quality.
The problem was fixed at 6PM EST and 3PM PST. The clocks didn't roll over (Except maybe in Japan). They probably just fixed the certificate verification server-side to ignore the issue for the rest of the day. A proper fix for the clock will likely come in the next firmware update.
Hopefully this mess up will finally make Sony realize the importance of Auto-Syncing trophies.
Amazon.com, Amazon.ca and Amazon.uk all disagree.
Still complaining about their jobs while hundreds of thousands are without.
If your pay doesn't cover your cost of living, chances are your cost of living is too high. Make some sacrifices or find a job that will sustain your lifestyle.
Talk is cheap. Whine with your wallets.
I'm looking forward to hearing more about this game. Particularly about who Platinum Games is going to hand it off to. Maybe they'll just let Bungie do it.
Yeah.. bring out your first-generation PS3 title in 2011. See how long people can hold out their hysterical laughter. If you're not on board yet, don't bother. That ship has sailed.
It's just the E3 demo.
430 x 233... What are these? PSP screens?
I don't know if anyone really believes it to be a useless or dumb feature. I do think a lot people don't consider it worth the money with so many free alternatives available.
Skype on any device you can name, Ventrilo, Team-Speak, iChat, any kind of telephone, etc.
What was that game that unanimously won GOTY in 2009? Aw geez... what was it?
I'm drawing a Greenberg Blank.
That would be fine with me. I wouldn't pay for it, but it wouldn't bother me.
XBL memberships would be fine with me too if it only included the party system, early demos and premium content.
The ability to talk cross-game is extraneous. The ability to play online and communicate with players in that game is not. It's part of the $60 package. Having to pay extra to use those features is extortion.
I'm pretty sure they mean development of it will end this year. That wouldn't surprise me.
They'd be really dumb to terminate it outright. It's still a considerable profit maker.
Nah, it would just be parsing the data directly from playstation.com. It's just a social web-portal. They could charge for it, but it would be like charging for Facebook or AIM. Presumably no one would be dumb enough to pay for it, so there's no use charging for it.
Now I say this having been utterly certain that no idiot would be dumb enough to pay Microsoft for the privilege of using their own internet connection on their console, and look how that turned out.
I wanted it when it was an RPG. Now that it's a shooter, I'd pass.
I stand corrected.
Enjoy interacting with 5-7% of your friends list via PSN, using your Sony Ericsson wonderphone.
It's not a 'free service' anymore than iTunes is a 'free service'.
You pay for the content you buy. And devs/publishers pay for the content they want you to download for free (That's marketing).
If you're referring to online multiplayer, that has absolutely nothing to do with PSN being on phones.
No one uses Sony Ericsson. So no one cares.
That's quite a coup. It seems an obvious move considering the investment in the studio, but historically, these are Lionheads.
