I find it easier and preferable to keep myself off XBL or any online game in which I can't mass-mute people.
Talking to everyone you run into online is seriously overrated.
Not only are they wrong, but they contend that developing on PS2 and PS3 are tantamount to the same thing.
Ask Free Radical (now Crytek UK) if PS2 experience equates to PS3 success.
There was a very clear warning prior to that update regarding the feature. No one put a gun to anyones head either way, but no one can say they didn't know about it when they updated. Ignorance isn't an excuse.
As long as the features provided were as described with the firmware installed, the retailer made no misrepresentations. When the update came out you were simply given a choice between OtherOS or PSN connectivity, but YOU were given the choice. Retailers can't guarantee yo...
I care.
Replicant is PS3 and Gestalt is 360. Gestalt (big, beefy dude) is the only one outside of Japan.
Must've sold a copy.
Not the first time. It's happened with certain content in the past and has always been a possibility on any release since like 2007.
I play on 3 units myself and appreciate when I can use my content on any of them, but I understand the concern from the publishers side. I would be happy with just being required to log into my PSN account to 'start' the content. (Having to stay logged in would be unacceptable)
That's how Nintendo is going to take on Natal. By replacing the sensor bar with the Wiimote and using that suit as a full-body light source. Combined with the additional data provided by the WiiFit board and you're talking full on VR here people. Virtual. Reality. In blistering 480p.
For a second I thought Nintendo had made a leotard peripheral.
Only in Assassin's Creed 3. I don't buy other Ubisoft games.
It's not his game, it's Sony's game.
I didn't say it takes only trees. I'm saying their claim is bull. They're reducing overhead without passing the savings on to the consumer.
If you want to pay the same for less, that's your call.
I'm not paying $60 without my manual.
The environmental angle is bull. Plain and simple. All paper production in North America comes from wood harvested from tree farms. Those trees exist for the production of paper. You don't save a single tree by stopping paper production. You LOSE trees. The question is, how many manuals end up in landfills? Not many and they all bio-degrade. The ink and aqueous coating do too.
The only thing being saved is money. They are lowering the overhead by ending the printing production of...
Musicians are always right about these kinds of things.
It's true. Unfortunately it's always at a noticeably low poly count. So many games, especially multiplat games look like PS2 games with great texture work. Something like God of War Collection with gigs of textures on screen.
I always prefer the look of really high polygon count graphics with low textures, or just solid colours. That way the model and lighting provide all the detail and it's dynamic. But that's just me.
Sorry dudes.. my life is gonna be forfeit once FFXIV comes out.
Wouldn't Valve and/or Sony have come out by now to say this themselves?
Well the description says 'until your hand becomes too twisted to keep your finger on the spot', which to me indicates an on-screen hand, not your own.
Can't wait to see full 'multitasking' functionality on a 3G (or even 2G). I'm sick of Apple's BS.
I guess that makes it more like A White Knight Chronicle.
