I would be shocked if he was working on anything but Xbox.
But at least it's on shelves.
That's what I was about to say.
I'll just relinquish the feature I've never used or cared about and hope that it frees up more memory for developers.
Must be nice.
Personally I'm not concerned about the day.. I'm more pissed off by the times. SCEA strolls into their nice warm California offices mid-afternoon and expect those of us on the other end of the continent to stay up past the Daily Show and wait for them if we have any desire to actually ENJOY the things the update brings.
A**holes.
Unless it's in my hands within 365 days, I don't want it.
I think that's what everyone expects and is afraid of.
I'm going to go ahead and assume, no. Despite their EA mandated praise of the system, I don't think BioWare is very hot for PS3 development. Dragon Age didn't give me much faith in it, in any case.
That'd make for interesting augmented reality. Whenever you sneak up on a guy, it could switch to an image of you, the player, and overlay your weapon over the controller as you murder them.
It wasn't even better than GoW1. Everything good about the game came directly from God of War.
I can distill that down further and point the finger directly at Sony Japan.
I actually care what happens to Nathan Drake. I have no vested interest in what happens to Conan the Spacemarine and his faithful dog Soul Train.
Uh nooooo
They said PS2 not PS1. This is being released as a PSone classic on PSN. Good try though... well.. not really.
So, skip the public beta and wait for the real release?
Rum and Pepsi?
In this era of knee-jerk reactions.. here's another.
The blame is on Square Enix, who provide the promo footage to MS to use in advertising.
25% smaller! 25% cheaper! The Xbox 270!
I have backward compatibility thanks. But I'd love auto-syncing trophies.
They've given cluster users heads up not to update. They'll retain the current firmware and all it's features.
People are treating this like a breach of contract or something. Sony has already cut off the feature to new users by removing the feature from Slims back in August. Anyone who has been using a PS3 for computational purposes prior to that can continue to do so as long as they like. They will just lose the ability to play games they likely weren't playing anyway.
