Nothing, I'm afraid.
That doesn't sound like a slam to me. Sounds like he's using Killzone 2 as a benchmark. That's rather complimentary.
It's a shame that not everything works out as planned. The omissions mentioned really sounded cool.
Of course, it'd just be icing sugar on a chocolate cake.
I refuse to read this. I simply need to comment to ask why?
Giving this turd a voice demeans us all. Stop it!
So the answer is yes. You'll take the Xbox version, play it at whatever resolution your display will allow, let your graphics card handle additional AA and that's it. The UI will still be based on a dualstick controller layout. The graphic UI will still be the same resolution (maybe upscaled). And you get 5.1 sound.
If that's a fair deal, then you should approach the argument from that angle. Say Hey, give us the game, day-and-date as the consoles, as is for $50. We, as a communi...
Then can we agree on the same quality at $10 cheaper?
If they just give you the Xbox version on PC at $50, is that sufficient?
Because the amount of effort it takes to create games is a lot higher these days?
I don't understand how PC should be superior in quality and lower in price.
Does not compute.
While I don't disagree, I'd be willing to bet that actual racers do. Those same old tracks a) are the same old tracks that actually exist, and that just doesn't seem to be changing and b) give experienced racers a distinct advantage over newer entrants.
Those are the same people who don't have enough confidence in GT5s actual existence to go ahead and buy a PS3 in the meantime.
I have Valkyria Profile. Love it. I used to love Tri-Ace too. I also used to think RARE was great.
Then they sucked. They still do. Live in the now. Accept the reality of it. Tri-Ace sucks.
Tri-Ace can suck it. Well.. they do actually.
@The Noctis Twins
Yeah FFXIII and many other games use all different models and prerendered movies. All games from previous generations did this. Whether it's a good or bad thing will ultimately depend on the cutscenes themselves. If they're so epic and grand that no engine could contain the action, they'll be forgiven. FFXIII used it as a reason to go 1080p, I'm cool with that. However if they default to CGI because they felt their in-game assets didn't measure up to their visio...

Innovative Waist and Shoulder high walls. Stay tuned!
I guess if you need a ridiculously complicated peripheral with only one purpose, this is the obvious choice. Sure you're not going to get any motion in the Z-plain, but who says that's better, anyway?
This is actually being completely misrepresented. It is illegally to modify consoles commercially. There's nothing to stop you from modifying your own console. You can even backup copyrighted material for personal consumption.
This entire section of the law actually refers to stealing passwords, keylogging, data mining, copying ATM cards, etc. You can't modify a device to make a copy of someone else's data (Data you don't own a license for). It's fairly clear-cut.
How are you going to take away anything about graphics from screens only 434x242. Is it a PSP game? An iPhone game?
I know Examiner is populated by morons, but I thought they could at least count. They don't have a clue what '720p' even means.
The most annoying part is that they probably HAVE full res screens but don't know how to post them. Well the most annoying part is that I have been duped AGAIN into clicking that stupid link.
How is SCEE capable of updating their store early in the afternoon (early evening in whatever Eastern European countries have access), but SCEA struggles to get it up on Thursday at all?
Well now that you've voided the warranty, I hope they start banning consoles.
We'll see how many people actually want Linux more than their PS3.
That kid looks like he was designed by Akira Toriyama.
