You'd be hard pressed to find similar spec'd hardware anywhere else for a lower price.
Name a single other multi-core mobile/portable device with 512+ MB of memory and a capacitive touchscreen for $250.
They don't have the Crash IP anymore. Haven't for years. I don't think it was ever owned by Sony. Pretty sure it was Universal's.
I thought we had this conversation 2 years ago.
So tempting.
Because every game gets its own specific set of drivers which messes with the drivers that every other game is developed using.
By the time a PC game goes gold to the time it ships, both nVidia and AMD update their graphics drivers at least once, but usually more.
*paramount* (what happened to the edit button?)
Physical media in the portable sense doesn't make much sense to me. I agree entirely about physical media in the console space, where games are now dozens of GB in size and I too like my game shelf as much as anyone, but portability is tantamount in the portable space. So for me, fewer things to carry around is a positive.
Awesome.
KDR pisses me off. Not only because I generally suck and am the first to admit it but also because being the hero often means falling on the grenade. It doesn't make sense outside of an environment like Quake or Unreal Tournament.
I wonder if you'll be able to download Vita games to PS3 and PC like PSP games. I'm not so much of a stickler for physical media for things under 10 GB. I'd rather carry around a single stick rather than multiple. I like to have a local copy backed up regardless.
Well no. PSone classics are ripped right from the disc. There's no additional development or optimization. It as exactly as it was on the disc and that's all it will ever be.
I recommend any of the versions available on Nintendo systems if that's an option. It's cheaper and better on VC.
I'm still looking forward to Revelations. Then I'd happily take a year off from the series to prepare for AC3, which will probably be on the next set of consoles.
I assumed it would be a Metroidvania like the first but on a larger scale.
Calling it a slap in the face to 'all those who missed out on BC PS3' is a slap in the face to all those who shelled out for a BC PS3.
I'm sure with all the money you saved, you can afford to buy yourself a box of tissues to wipe those tears away.
I love my backward compatible PS3 but it never gets used for PS2. I started playing PS2 games on PC a long time ago and would never want to go back. Every time a 'new' Wii game comes out I cringe at the terrible resolution. Increasing the resolution on PC is way better, even with the occasional lighting bug and framerate drops.
When given the option of an HD remaster, I find its worth the money for the trophies and rock-solid framerate. I wouldn't want to buy actu...
Comparing Elder Scrolls to Dark Souls and somehow thinking they're mutually exclusive clearly misses the point of each. They're nothing alike.
I'd say they're similar for the first 20 seconds but then they're completely different.
Anyone have direct links to youtube? The site is way over capacity.
Might have cared 5 years ago.
The reason you can't is because it streams from both HDD and disc. Loading from either individually would be slower. Maybe with the exception of an SSD.
Can't compare hardware/price? That is, objectively, a stupid comment.
Every device has different functionality. They still contain a list of common hardware.
And 'free' under contract? Under contract means you're bound for a number of years. If you think that's free, you don't even know what the word means.
