Whether you intended to troll with the article or not, it reads as one big session of you doing exactly what you're scolding other people for doing. You might think its funny or really sarcastic humor, but it really just comes off as pretty sad.
Please localize Monster Hunter and Fire Emblem: Awakening
I'm all for delaying a game to fix problems, but these consistent delays make me question the professionalism of the company. If you have to keep delaying a game, somebody is making mistakes.
I feel like Heroes of Ruin has promised awesomeness, but the consistent lack of professionalism in management of the game makes me question how good it will be.
Not much different from the spacing of the original date of June 26th.
A July release would do nothing more than sink the game amongst the other big titles mentioned. I don't understand it from a marketing perspective. Perhaps they're having multiplayer server issues.
While we're at it, why don't we advocate for ending used car sales and used home sales? That's smart, right? Every company should be expected to only sell new things. I wonder how that would turn out? Gamers lack perspective on what they're asking when they say "end used sales".
No, I don't expect them to even try. They aren't gamers. They don't understand gaming. Allowing independent publishers to publish games to your service does not mean you understand gaming.
Apple has been taking credit for being "innovative" in gaming on their tablet for years. They don't deserve it. None of the titles published are real games. They're time wasters. A controller is necessary to take it to the next level, but they seem very ...
Attention, everyone! Unexpecta has an opinion, therefore it is the "end of discussion". Good to know. Let us know how that works out for you.
Good luck juggling the controller and iPad while on the bus. I don't think the practical outcome is exactly as you imagine it being.
And they coexist. So to say that handheld gaming can't coexist with iPhones and tablets is like saying clocks were obsolete the second that microwaves had digital clocks.
The key is that it was standing operating procedure before 2009. The point is that saying that "selling hardware at a loss" equates to "a company being doomed" is a gross oversimplification of the economics.
Not for many of us. But, many of us don't go in with very high expectations for the narrative parts of these things, so we're rarely disappointed.
When people cite the price cut and sales at a loss that Nintendo is "doomed", they conveniently fail to point out that Sony has been selling their consoles at a loss for a long, long time.
Trololololololololol.
That's not really an accurate analogy given that the start up cost of a Vita is influenced by those extra bells and whistles, many of which are unnecessary.
It really comes down to what you prefer. An example: I don't own a smart phone. I don't want a smart phone. Yes, I realize that smart phones can do things that my regular old flip phone can't. But here's the issue: I don't need a phone that can do those extra things. I have internet at home...
Name some currently released Vita games that have received any sort of accolades.
If you're enjoying the system, great. The sales would say otherwise. If there were games worth playing, people would buy them.
So, if the story and characters are great, and the gameplay is horrible, you're still onboard? You either have issues elucidating what you like, or you have really low standards for a story and characters. Read some more books and then pretend that any JRPG has a good "story". Few who play JRPGs, and have any experience with literature, thinks that story is the "most" important. Gameplay, first and foremost.
People play JRPGs because they like to m...
The reason this is happening is because some of the pro-Vita people here are the same people who trolled the 3DS page when the 3DS was struggling. You made your bed and now you have to lay in it. The reasonable Vita fans suffer the same bad image from their trollers as the reasonable 3DS fans suffer from their trollers. I wish we could all just get along and be pro-"handhelds", but the truth is that gamers trolling each other created this problem, not the websites.
Agreed. There is nothing factual about this article until we are certain they never get NA releases.
The article reads more like the author's perception of gamer prejudices than the reality. Anyone who likes strategy games generally loves Fire Emblem games because they have simple but deep gameplay. It has absolutely nothing to do with story or art style. I question whether the author has ever played a Fire Emblem game. It might give them perspective on how much some...
Size is not the issue. Kid Icarus uprising is gorgeous on the system and it is like 400 MB. You need twice the data due to the 3D, but the screen size is also small,
Just like the "no one owns consoles" is unique to this author, the idea that "handhelds aren;t selling" is unique to your situation.
What part of 4 million units sold means that the 3DS isn't selling? It sold 6 million in Japan and is killing the Vita right now (Vita needs more software). It beat the DS in first year sales.
There are those of us who want portie gaming but don't want it to be tripe or cumbersome. A tablet isn'...
