Reminds me of R@AGE - at least the driving & the desert setting do. Then again I liked R@AGE, so what do I know.
And fanboys! At this point, I think Sony could announce they were going to sell crap on a stick, and you'd hear every Sony troll in world say how much they want one.
I'm perfectly fine with it. What idiot buys MS points and then doesn't spend them for an entire year? If you weren't going to use them, why would you need to buy them in the first place?
Um, isn't this the way MS points have always been handled? Didn't they always expire after a year? So rather than focusing on what's changing (no longer having to dick around with points), the focus is on the policy that's going to change when the cash transactions kick in. Yes that makes sense.
Do the Rockstar guys do the timed exclusive thing? That might be a factor for some if that's the case, since Microsoft always seems to win out in that regard.
I really don't understand this at all. Undead Labs was totally up-front about the fact that this was going to be a single-player game - did these people buy the game thinking it was going to have multiplayer? It's like buying milk and then complaining that it should come with cereal.
I'll do the same thing I did this time around - I'll go back through my games, play everything in my backlog until the end, mop up any achievements I feel like getting, and then grab a new console. I figure I'll be about 1-2 years late to the party like I was for the xbox360, and by that time the console will come down in price, the accessories I may need will come down in price, and the launch games themselves will come down in price. I've got too much left to do (and I'm...
Obviously the PS4 is going to outsell the XB1 - I mean, come on! Gamers don't want new ideas anymore, all we really want is a new console that's just slightly better than the one we have now and a new Killzone & Uncharted!!! Seriously who wants to have to bother with sharing games and all this other newfangled garbage M$ is pitching if we have to have our console online all the time!!! And who knows who could be watching us parade around in our underwear with that Kinect on all th...
Yeah, because a download of a few kb once every 24 hours is unpossible where you live? Did you write your comment on paper and then mail it in? Because otherwise the amount of time it took you to write your post would have been more than enough time for the check to complete.
Man, this just goes to show that people suck. Nice job internet.
Well, you know, since the author of the article apparently cares more for the submariner than Don Mattrick, why doesn't he raise some cash for the poor guy and buy him a launch PS4? Unless of course he really doesn't care at all, and only wrote the article to jump on the 'bash Microsoft' bandwagon like everyone else. Nah, that couldn't possibly be it.
Not sure why I'm bothering downloading this, I know it's a piece of crap... but it's a free piece of crap, at least.
Yawn.
No.
Nice try, but that still won't get my to play games on my tablet. Why would I want to do that when I already have much better games available on my console. Might be nice for the people who actually like mobile games, but this can't be taken as a serious threat by any stretch of the imagination.
I think the idea is that your skill levels that have been maxed out (say Smithing) reset to level 15, but your overall level (mine is currently 57) stays the same. Then when you relevel them, it helps the overall leveling again.
I'm all for having the Legendary skill reset (because, honestly, I'll never level up past 60 any other way) but I'm really going to hate starting Enchanting off at level 15 again.
If the comics have taught us anything, Batman wins. He's done it before in The Dark Knight Returns & JLA: Tower of Babel. Hell, Batman takes down the entire JLA in Tower of Babel (mind you, it's Ra's al Ghul using Batman's plans, and not Batman himself who sets it all in motion).
Personally, I thought the last significant Assassin's Creed was Assassin's Creed II - I played through Brotherhood, but gave the whole series up after that. Assassin's Creed II was definitely the series high point for me.
My Commodore Vic 20 had one of these things, back when I was like 10. The games were not too far off from what was in the arcades at the time (think Robotron 2084) and I thought it was quite neat - you could use any blank cassette tape to store them on. I'm pretty sure it had a modem too but I can't for the life of me remember what that would have been for.
