Microsoft isn't paying anyone anything to delay the release - all they are doing is sticking to the terms that say 'You either release the game on our console the same time as you release it on the other consoles, or it won't come to our console at all'. This isn't about being paid off, it's a timing thing.
Oh man, my kids are going to EXPLODE when I tell them this! Mind you, they're still pretty small, and they spend more time fiddling with the character editor than playing the game, but they are going to be begging for this.
I'll probably pass on it, to be honest. I didn't care for 4 at all. Vice City was the last one I really enjoyed.

Bought this new for the same price from the local GameStop about three months ago. Now to just find a way to tear myself away from Borderlands 2 long enough to play through it.

Man, there are so many awesome arcade classics in this game! If I had saved up all the quarters I ever pumped into games like Defender, Spy Hunter, Robotron, Marble Madness that I'd be able to buy a few dozen copies of this. Sadly, the reality is that now I wouldn't spend more than $5 for the whole lot of them. Times change.

I wouldn't want to have to search through junk indie games to find the decent arcade ones. It seems like so much of the indie game space is filled with crap like Baby Maker Extreme, Try Not to Fart, and so on that the actual decent indie games get left to rot because no one can find them - which is a shame.

I work in a fair size call center (300+ people). There are a LOT of gamers here, I'm going to say very close to half of us in the departments I work closely with. So out of a sample of about 100 of the total, about 50 people I know like to game. Out of those 50, there are about 5 women. Outside of work the only other woman I know who games is my wife.

Never played a Duke Nukem game in my life (I was a little preoccupied with life on my own when the original games came out), so I grabbed this for less than $10. When you don't have any expectations for a game, you might be surprised by how much fun you can have with it.
That's the best way. I do the same thing for every game I buy, otherwise I'd lose the damn things.
That's what I'm aiming for... or the MGS HD Collection, I heard that one was quite good. Does anybody know if this is actually true however? I've been checking a lot of forums, and it seems some people are getting the free game love and others are being stonewalled. I've emailed them, but haven't heard back yet.

Shame you don't like pinball games, the Zen Studios team do a great job with licensed tables - their Marvel tables all rock. I also don't see anything in the trailer that you could look at and say 'cheap cash-in' either.
