Well considering the franchise has sold a total of 56.02 million units on the console up to the end of 2012 I think that a lot of people would disagree. I can understand that some people don't like the game as there are games that I don't like too but hype alone does not sell that many games.

LeCreeset I did not argue sales. I was talking about perception and almost every gaming site has been saying the same thing. Frame rate problems on the PS4, lackluster games for the PS4 (I don't mean no games Infamous will be good). Perception changes every day and Sony better start putting out some games other than multiplatform ones.

Sony has Infamous SS and The Order. One which has dropped textures and particle effects since its showing at E3 and the other which after 4 years still has problems with smooth frame rates and only 800 lines of resolution and now to top it all off frame rate issues on several multiplatform games and Knack runs as low as 14fps in places.

Have fun trying to play your free games when the trial is up. Unless you are going to pony up the cash for a subscription you won't get to play them anymore. The purpose of the first 3 months is to get you hooked on the service. Similar to what drug dealers do. Give you a free sample to get you hooked and start charging a fee afterwards. I know this is conspiracy theory crazy but I had a thought.
The CBOAT reputation has been ruined by many believing that he is really an umbrella account for several people at NeoGaf used to spread FUD with the odd rumor that is so vague and easy to guess that it had some credibility. Now that many feel the account has been exposed as a ruse I wonder if they aren't killing the account and setting up FamousMortimer as the next guy to have all the credibility.

There is some serious damage control going on here by certain parties controlling the fake entity CBOAT.
His posts were coincidentally made on a NeoGaf thread that had some hype going for the TitanFall/Xbox One bundle and the UK price drop.
This seems to be the pattern for CBOAT. Infiltrate a thread on NeoGaf that has some positive hype for anything Xbox and put out negative rumors to derail the thread.

It is being used now but you are correct that the full effect is a ways off.
The best use I have seen so far is how well TitanFall played online. I have honestly never played that many hours in online MP without a hiccup or lag like I did in the Beta.
As server deployment increases, ping times drop, and broadband increases speed and opens in more areas the server side of things will have a much larger impact. It is only early days yet.

Ah, so it is OK because it is a PS4 game? No time to optimize? Pure BS. Sony has placed all its bets as I have said on the 1080p train sacrificing in polygons, lighting, particle effects, frame rate, etc.
Sure it looks a tiny bit better in some cases if you freeze the frame and sit 2 feet from your HDTV. How many gamers do that? Wait a minute almost dropping to single digit frame rate is so close to freezing the frame that I guess 5.4 million gamers are potentially doing...
If his friend used his Xbox One to access US Netflix then the region on his Xbox One has been changed to the US. He needs to change the region back to Canada. If that doesn't work then possibly Netflix has caught onto what was going on and has blocked his console.

The PS4 is $349 in the UK and add in TitanFall at $42 you are getting the Xbox One for almost the same price as the PS4.
I think that it has just taken on a life of its own at this point.

It is certainly sad to see this happen to a respected development group but Sony has to play their financial cards as they see fit. They would know better than us whether there was anything profitable coming out of there in the near to medium term and if not they have obviously chosen to put their money into something else that they think will bring them a profit. Time will tell whether they made the correct choice.
