I got invited to preview future Xbox One updates 2 days ago but as of last night the update still wasn't available. I am going to check now and see if the update has installed. I can't see why you would have to considering the controllers us WiFi Direct but don't can't really say. If I find out anything about it I will let you know.

Too funny. This game is taking a real beating. I have not tried it so I cannot comment on how fun it is (I did think that the previews looked good) but seeing how I am a Dad I wonder if have the same gaming sixth sense as her. I will have to buy the game and see.
Yes, we all knew the app was coming but no one knew when and we did not know the details other than we would be able to archive footage.
The app turned out much to be much more encompassing and has more options than anyone expected.

Yeah, I am the same way but Evolve does look like it has a really interesting twist on the FPS genre so I will have to get it and put up with those silly shenanigans and the cursing from my teammates when I screw up.
From the looks of the pre-orders for the Xbox One version it will move consoles for sure. Couple that with the bundle and MS definitely have a winner on their hands.
That being said I don't see any reason for Sony to worry anymore about TitanFall than they did with Halo. Sony will have its own exclusives to sell consoles. It did not bother either company last gen when the other had a great exclusive game and it won't this generation either.

I really like the concept of Evolve and it looks really fun but after playing the TitanFall Beta if forced to buy only one it would be TitanFall.
I think the announcement for the new Twitch Streaming app and the use of the Kinect should really put the rumor of a Kinectless Xbox One to bed. It just isn't going to happen.
There is no benefit aside from cost and the Xbox One is selling well so that does not seem to be an issue. The console would not be any more powerful to any significant degree and it would loose a lot of the functionality that many have come to like and the potential for new stuff like the Twitch ...
Well I am glad for those that are getting the console and a free copy of TitanFall but it would have been nice to have had the choice. Makes no real difference to me as I have the console.
I like the idea of digital downloads and have lots of them but I still prefer to have a physical copy of my AAA games. I would feel better about it if I could make a back up of the digital downloads or something. I know that once you have purchased it you can always download it again but...
