"Far Cry 3 Classic Edition will release on consoles on June 26th. Enjoy a 4 weeks early access thanks to the Far Cry 5 Season Pass!"
Have no idea where the PS4 on this date and others on another date came from in the write up. Very poorly written post. How did this pass?
Edit: ok, I see they used another link to source the info that was PlayStation and thus the misleading info.
Nope... I have gone off to an island chain and grabbed treasures and hid them in different places and came back much much later with crew and picked them up from where I left them.
Not the issue being discussed. As the crew can simply vote to skuttle a ship to prevent that being an issue.
No, that is not what is being talked about. Griefers aren't camping on other ships that spawn in but is talked on when the griefer themselves respawn locally and keeps coming back and coming back. Eventually depleting the other ships resources.
Simply need to fix the resource depleting issue and leave the PvP aspect in.
Only fix them in a way that doesn't create a worse situation. Imagine you just cleared the Skeleton fort and got all that treasure and your ship got sunk and was forced to respawn on the other side of the map (which is the general suggestion being brought up to stop griefing). All that hard work for simply a crew letting you do all the work and taking out your ship to earn an easy treasure haul.
You don't play games online much do you?
Pretty simple option fix. Add a choice (can be a vote option for a crew) where you can choose spawn local or spawn non-local. Non-local will give the ship the normal spawn loadout of cannon balls, bananas and lumber. While spawn local will put the ship in a closer general location but completely empty and require crew to restock from local island.
And when a ship is sunk the ship that did the sinking should get an appearance from Poseidon who grants them an added 15~20 inv...
@ocelot07 - if you are gaming on your own in SoT versus gaming with others then for sure you re choosing to game in a completely different way. They are near night in day in how they play. So don't blame others for your choice in playing in a fashion that leaves you bored.
It was resolved a few hours after. They actually dealt with the issue very quickly, as usual.
The game file is so small in comparison to other titles. And really I have seen updates of other games that are much larger than this.
It is not unusual for smaller game files to simply offer up a complete offering versus a patch work updating process.
That 1 million player base was only in the first 48 hours of the game. Pretty sure it is not having a difficult time with sales.
Pretty sure God of War is not going to hurt sales of SoT seeing that it is not even playable along side it on console or PC.
And GamePass can only help sales of a game in the long run as people who use their 14 day free trial can purchase games at a discount before the trial is up.
It has been found more than not that those who actually play SoT are enjoying their play time and not seeing the hate that those who don't play the game are sharing.
Correct... the vote to brig option is completely abused in game. Worst idea they ever came up with.
You get the achievements but they do not unlock until you play a purchased copy of the game if you had earned achievements using the FREE co-op version.
You can do Xbox Game Share and earn the achievements that way. Or borrow a disk of a friend and simply sign into the game and unlock all your previous earned achievements instantly.
I think there is a cell on the one player ship too if I recall? Next to the grog.
It always spawns a safe distance away but still in the local quadrant of the map you were previously in.
Did you know that in the Beta 2 player ships had it so a single person could put you in the brig. Not sure if that is till a thing or not but it was stupid.
It is respawned in a new place based on location of other ships near the area they died. Point being it respawns you in the general area where you last died so you aren't spending so much time trying to get back to the point of your quest or last voyage location. The ship can simply sail off or try and go back to the area they last were.
When in a solo game myself I will often keep fighting back against a galleon even though I know it is more futile than not. Because wh...
DS2 was Dead Space 2 long before Dark Souls 2 was in existence.
