Obviously you aren't old enough to remember Blockbuster and going in and renting a video game. This idea is nothing new... the only real difference is it has simply taken the Netflix format and taken the rental service process online and a membership that gives you full access to all the games they have anytime you want to play them.
There are actually more Sega Saturn games I want remastered than Dreamcast games.
Absolutely nothing wrong with the idea of having batteries that can be removed, and the choice of using more than one type of battery for the user.
The only thing that was a misstep in what MS did was not include a recharge battery and kit with their controllers at the start. Yes more money on their end but for sure a better option for the consumer. Then consumers can buy extra recharge batteries if they want or even purchase AA or rechargeable AA if they want.

MS sold 35 million Kinects as of Oct 2017, production of 8 years. PSVR likely will be around for PS5 but I wouldn't expect it to be anywhere close to Kinect numbers.
I remember once I had near all my AAA collection of game disks in a CD carry case while I was traveling. I went to the restroom and had left them in the stall on the counter that is in there. Lucky for me right before I boarded my flight it dawned on me that I didn't have them. I ran back and found them right in the stall where i left them... I was so lucky nobody else found them first.

Bethesda is wrong in the idea of the warranty in application to the 'First Sale Doctrine' but the point of any of this was simply on the word NEW being used in said sale. That too could be easily contested but the easier reply from seller would be to change the add to read UNOPENED ORIGINAL PACKAGING which completely negates the reasoning for Bethesda's claim.

So many of the replays show fullscreen while others show black boxed aspect. Kind of hoping to get a clue as to what all of the game aspects will be available for the game. Not interested as much to see the game with big black boxes on the left and right of my screen to fit the game image.
So many games will win GOTY in 2018. Just depends on which awards source you want to prioritize over another source. So these 2 games along with other titles will win GOTY some place.

@xX-oldboy-Xx - open world is simply the point of you being able to traverse near the entirety of the world without being forced down a scripted corridor like gameplay. Single player and multiplayer really have less to do with the open world setting. as many single player games have open world play, as example Skyrim or even the single player GTA games.
And yes, I would imagine 20 hours for a main story line to be completed to be relatively good time period. Especially so ...
