Hey everybody... they haven't officially closed yet. Which is a very important aspect of why their teams are being shafted in some cases. They are running on a small skeleton crew but they are likely going to liquidate assets and then close down or look for some other avenue to become solvent once again. What they have done is shafted their workers in hopes of saving themselves from complete bankruptcy. Business move yes but not one that ever puts a good look on a company.
@SpaceRanger - you are missing the KEY core feature of Netflix which is offering up new Netflix specific content. Otherwise people would be using really any Netflix like service available.
When CEO of Sony says the reason they aren't doing BC is because nobody wants to play old games, well then it does have everything to do with BC. You can't say on one side that gamers don't want to play the ugly old games and then turn around and sell a new system that is all about people using it to play those ugly old games.
How many AAA games like this are available? Closest to a AAA game is Fortnite and it is ageing very well. PUBG is far from AAA and the next closest competition in the genre. All other such games are PUBG wanna be titles that offer very poor gameplay in comparison.
Well with the added dismissal of BFV by many fans and the likely scenario of it being a much weaker alternative to the FPS genre I would see Blackout as the game of choice for many gamers. EA will bite it in terms of game sales in comparison... and that is coming from someone who always preferred Battlefield over COD games in the past.

With the added bonus of giving the player the actual fulfillment of perverted fantasies which is likely why they bought the game in the first place? Go figure.
So because a company or person does a single thing that is bad they should get a pass on that thing being pointed out as an issue because of other things they have done that are good? For sure you can't vilify an entire organization or person for most single actions but for sure some actions just deserve to have focus on them and be called out.

Because blackout, other than the premise behind the mode, has little in common with the other BR games. First off it is stable, the graphics are great, the gun play is great, it actually feels like the first AAA BR game we have seen. Secondly which BR game have you seen with helicopters.....
'Battlefield Hardline' Demo was great! As was 'Battlefield 3'. Any issues each had were minor at best.
Pretty bad when 'No Man's Sky' is getting better reviews today than 'BFV'.

Bad math though... as it does not account for the multiple accounts people have as well as gamers who don't own the game trying the game out on a friends system. When ever anyone tries to directly associate trophies with user base numbers they will always be far off from actual numbers as there are so many variables to reduce said numbers in real use.

It would be nice if they add a storyboard option later. So people could actually then create their own comic book from in-game. Being able to even add written text dialogue and such. Many very cheap storyboard apps already exist and sure insomnia could manage to implement their own version well within this photo mode.
For sure it would simply add to the publicity of the game. So it would pay off in the long run to add this for users to create.

You can't say the reason the game failed in the past was because it didn't fall into current game trends which it wasn't actually competing with at the time. They made the game because OverWatch was the trending game at the time and he basically insinuates the failure was because the game type did not fit the trend.
