Yeah it's ok. I'm looking forward to it more than Mario. Way more.
It's news because it's relevant to a particular system. I would want to know what could potentially void the warranty on my system.
Great post Cali, and I totally agree. Bubbles.
Uncharted is definitely tops on my list followed by Assassins Creed. Hazed is 3rd or maybe Army of Two, but Army of Two is by EA and we know they can't program for the PS3 so maybe not.
EA is doing the conversion for the PS3 so it's going to suck much and I refuse to spend $400 dollars on a video card so I'll probably skip this one. Unless EA pulls off a miracle, which I highly doubt. With Ratchet coming out next week and Eye of Judgement, I'm going to be busy anyway.
This doesn't surprise me at all. MS steals or copies from everyone. It looks like they are going to make a phone that's like the IPhone too. MS's lifeline, their OS was copied so what do you expect. This is the reason I don't like MS. They don't have any ideas for themselves. Oh, I forget, they have the idea to copy and steal.
Actually PS3 owners paid $600 for a system that doesn't have a 33% fail rate, has a disc drive that can hold all the new games coming out for it, HDMI 1.3, WiFi, and a hard dive that they can switch out at their leisure.
Ok, I've been working with computers for a number of years but I must not be understanding something. Ok, the PS3 has 256mb of memory, yes? And the 360 has up to 512mb, yes? But the memory on the PS3 runs at 3.2 Ghz vs the 360's 700mhz. Data transfer should still be much faster on the PS3 if you do the math(512x700 vs 256x3200). It's just a matter of coding differently. Can someone tell me if I'm wrong on this.
How in the h@ll did they miss the Flak Cannon from UT. It's nowhere on the list unless I missed it.
@Radient
He doesn't want to take the time to learn something he can't apply to something else. The only thing that tells me is that he just wanted to make money off Half-Life2 and he doesn't plan on developing any other games on the PS3. That's fine but don't slander something just because you want to make a quick buck off of it and and you found it harder to do. Anyone whose planning on developing for the PS3 for the next several years would obviously not consider it a waste o...
It's funny how people see what they want to see. You have numerous articles stating that the Cell processor is a beast and yet you have one guy says that it's not and people take it as fact. You have developers that develop for both consoles stating that it's outstanding.
Here's a couple of articles:

Oh I'm positive that 13 will be. FF is by far my favorite series and FF7 is not my favorite of them, but I can't deny that if they made a remake to 7 there would be a lot of systems sold. I'm definitely ready for 13 though.
Now if only Sony could convince Square-Enix to bring the remake to FF7 for the PS3. Can you imagine how nuts it would be? That would be a definite system seller.
Also Linux is supposed to be open source. So it should be only a matter of time before all the SPE's are implemented and drives written for the RSX.
What I don't understand is whether he's ripping DVDs or HD-DVDs. It has to be HD-DVDs because my laptop will rip most DVDs in around 20 to 30 min.
Like I've said earlier. Most people who hated the game hated it because Factor 5 didn't give em the option to switch to analog. It seems that most people don't understand that they didn't give the option because it would change what they were trying to accomplish. They knew that most people wouldn't give the control scheme a chance. I wouldn't give them the option either. It seems that people are resistant to tackling something new which is weird to me because that should go against the natur...
While this comparison has been seen a lot in the past. I think the reason it keeps coming up is that we as PS3 owners don't understand the loyalty that has been generated by the 360. I will say that Gears for the 360 is outstanding and maybe the best game on any system. I'm not a fan of Halo but I understand how everyone loves it. With the exception of these two games and Bioshock, there is not much I see on the system that's can't be matched. Every other game that's available has a game on o...
Unfortunately I think he's right about how the Japanese games are not as revered as they used to be. It's just a natural flow of gaming. Now is the time of the FPS. Games that use to get great reviews now have to be extraordinarily great to get those same scores. I remember when platformers use to be king then it was racers and RPG's. Hopefully they won't stop making games like this because I still loves these games more than any other.
It's not that big a deal. If you want BC then get the higher model. It's as easy as that. This model is to get people to upgrade from their PS2 or bring people to the Sony brand. Either you'll have a PS2 or won't care about the old stuff anyway.
I just rented Lair this week. All I can say is that I'm not sure if I'm playing the same game that the reviewers have been talking about. The games not perfect but to give it the scores that it received is a shame. If I can't beat it before it's due back then I'm definitely going to buy it. I personally love the controls. If the 180 turn was a button and it had a map I wouldn't have many negative things to say about the game. I'm really enjoying the game but then again I love to experiment wi...
