A good wheel feels much much better than controller. If you never tried a wheel i'll tell you what you get with it:
1.Idiot but important: physical feel of holding a wheel, pedals, ...
2.Feedback Force: when near loosing control, sliding, in many turns or even in straights with bumps. You have to hold the wheel tightly.

Let me add: if you are a family and you dont buy a PS3 you are a fool.
Family/party games, games for kids, games for the hardcore, games for adults (UC2 HR), no genre uncovered. Even thousands of non gamers will soon enjoy GT5.
Bluray, browser, very powerful multimedia device.
Sony works very well this strategy, but they also know that 1 core gamer puts the same money in the system than ~5 casual gamers.

Great games remanutd55! I also have a huge psp collection.
PSP is one of the most underrated systems in history. People tend to judge psp games as if they were console games, many times forgetting it's a portable system.
Hopefully Sony will stick to this market segment with their new iteration. I think something very big will happen with psp2. Cloud on the go? Ability to play any ps3 game with reduced resolution? Phone? Sexy gadget? PSN integration?

I agree with you. This is why i told before that 3ds isn't bringing nothing really new to handheld gaming.
Sony's market demographics are more complex than Nintendo's. This is why extended features like the ones you mention will make psp3 shine and put 3ds in it's rightful place in technologic terms.

Hard to digest, but there's not nasa technology in 3ds. You have to be in a very precise position in order to see the effect. It's not a magical screen.
