Everybody talks about Sony in this thread, but this is common to all publishers.
I don't support this kind of actions, but please keep in mind how things work in real life:
-Piracy is very important on some platforms
-Second-hand market very organised, big and still growing
-Increasing development costs
-Shareholders pressure
-Legitimate right to look for profit increase
And the most important thing:
-Games ...
Mr Marbles, it is really fun to see you so scared. Can't wait for this "shitty" game. LOOOOOOOOOOOOL
I was refering to the skyscrapers.
And what about this? www.game.es Check the ad that pops in.
I agree with you.
But i'm really interested in trying Move. I already have the Camera, so investment is minimal.
If Move really works as PR and journalists say, this can be a nice addition to my gaming rig. Ruse, KZ3, Socom, RE5, Heavy Rain, Sorcery, MLB, and some of the casual stuff (check Kung-Fu Rider if you haven't). All these games can benefit from a different control scheme.
I have a G25 for my racing games, but i don't play every racing game with it....
Do you need multiple actions in your game? You need buttons.
Do you need quick succession of different actions in your game? You need buttons.
Do you need fast paced gameplay? You need buttons.
Do you like long gaming sessions? You need to buttons.
For this style of gaming:
Kinect < Touch Screen < WiiMote < PSMove < Classic controllers (console or KB+mouse)
Now if we talk about simple (casual) gaming where the real fun is wh...
Average household size in USA: 2,61
I agree that Kinect can deliver the type of fun experiences you already experienced when you bought your wii. Keep in mind it will feel less fresh.
And i also agree that with this lineup of games Kinect, will be a one-trick pony, quickly collecting dust the same as milions of Wiis in the world.
Sorry but watching your family play is much more fun that play all 4 members at once. Not every member wants to play all the time.
Any naive in here thinking Sony won't make a Family Bundle with one eye, two moves and two nunchuks?
You sound like an edge reviewer
lol GROL
i greatly enjoy grol comments. It's hilarious. It's like those comedians that know how to make fun of themselves. They are pathetic and embarassing, and this is why they are so fun (check Ricky Gervais here http://video.google.com/vid... if you don't know what i mean)
Funny how you mention you want things for real gamers, and make a list with the features you would like to have with nothing being strictly related to gaming: voice message, custom soundtrack, video conference, captures...
lol troll
Don't forget LBP2, KZ3, MSA and INF2 were showed a fewweeks/days ago. This reduced the wow factor. But right now i'm looking forward to much more games than one month ago. And for me this is the only thing that counts.
You need some fresh air
Kharma, first of all it is Newell who had an ant-ps3 stance and now embraces it.
Ps3 ardents fans are legitimally allowed to change accordingly if they like.
Honestly, before i was thinking, what was the name?
kinetic?
knitec?
kinknet?
kiniket?
Kentic?
And remember not all the world is english speaking. Wii, Move, Wave, Natal are easy words for non english people.
Come on everybody! extend your arms in front of you pretending you're holding a car wheel. Please answer how many minutes can you stand without being uncomfortable.
2 for me.
Killzone 2 was already relatively jaggie-less, but gow3 is the most impressing in this department that i've ever seen. I'm not a technical whore If not dramatic, I don't mind a few jaggies, don't mind some tearing, don't mind images slightly blurred, don't mind fps mild dips. But i greatly appreciate technical excellence. Everything feels right when technically powerful, and GOW3 gave me this impression. Can't wait for KZ3.
He's talking about expanded market. I think that what he tries to tell is that they managed to attract milions of girls/moms with wii fit, milions of casuals with brain age, and milions with a motion control that allowed you to play wii sports or wii play, and now those consumers are bored.
Mr Iwata, let me tell you a secret: those millions you attracted aren't gamers. They are people that want to loose weight, people that want increase their self esteem thinking they...
