hundreds of millions. Is it 2, 3 or 4?
Because if it is 3, then you have 3 million units sold for 300 million dollars, making 100$ per unit on marketing. Typical MS approach to the market: spend triple or more on marketing that on product and quality itself.
Sure they will sell a lot. Not to me.
Anybody knows where's the baton?
Day 1. I missed ICO but played and loved SOTC. Can't wait.
Cant wait for iKratos, iHalo and iMario
I used to play tons of hardcore old wargames like Operational Art of War, Combat Mission or the Panzer Campaign series. Everything on pc, outdated graphics, but extremely deep and accurate historical representations. Got tired of tweaking my pc.
This game can easily make for a solid "casual" wargaming experience on consoles.
Much better with the Move.
Somebody 10 years ago:
"FPS will NEVER work on console."
Day 1 for me
Nice catch beardpapa. I can't wait to read his "explanations" lol lol conloles
Not surprisingly Strikepackage Bravo was the first in line when this article by Kotaku about fake loading times surfaced.
Some of his gems:
"Forza 3 loads the same track in 1/3 the time. Wait 5 years for the game then another 5 minutes for every race. So who's fault is it this time, Booray or the cell, Sony you have outdone yourselves this time."
Sure Strike, you deserve all of our respect, and we'll keep a close eye on your opinions...
The point you're looking for is when MS entered the industry.
Philip, wait for the final release. It's shaping well, and you know PD still have some surprises to show us...
They burned three months after crashing?
;-)
You're right. This is why we won't praise this on-rails thing or won't buy it. But you know, we have plenty of alternatives to enjoy move.
I'm 40, i don't have metallica t-shirts, i've been gaming for 30 years, all genres all platforms. I consider myself a hardcore gamer because i love games.
I won't buy Kinect.
I think this is a game very interesting for competitive online. It would make for a completely different type of gameplay.
Admittedly, turn-based flow need time limits and other mechanisms, but play this human against human would be a very welcome addition.
Think of Demon's Souls online portion. Not perfect, not for everybody, but fresh and new.
WTF IS GOING ON. Y DO I SEE MULTIPLES OF THE SAME COMMENTS?
OT: Wow just wow
I think it's relatively safe to assume that Sony have more to win patching some titles in the hope of making users of those games to try the Move thing instead of not patching the games and hope of users buy the move and rebuy the games.
Sony has clearly positioned itself in the motion control peripherals segment with the philosophy of "useful for every gamer", so not patching games doesnt look very consistent to me.
Of course there could be exceptions.
I...
Obviously racing with a wheel is a much better experience. So, yes, you miss things: precise steering, force feedback, sensitive accelerating or braking, overall a more immersive experience.
But this fact doesn't mean that playing with a DS is a minor experience.
If you don't play a lot, it's even possible to get better lap times with the DS than with the wheel (longer learning curve).
No sense of speed? It's supposed to be a sim, not an arcade racer.
In real life sense of speed has more to do with g foces, sense of peril and different responsiveness of the car at increased speed. Not so much because of visual information.
Maybe what you're looking for is wipeout.
Every videogameszone.de video has "impressive" or "outstanding" in the title.
