Exactly. It's damn arrogant of US based media to think that US is the one and only market area. Last I checked, Europe had this nifty economic area called European Union, which has a monetary unit that is stronger than dollar... Also, approximately 200 million more inhabitants than US. Even with Canada and Mexico combined with US, EU would still have more potential customers.

Umm... Why should a console that is meant for playing games etc have to have a dvd playback ability? I don't get it. Because one's too lazy to use a regular, standalone player? How amusing.

Oh? I'd dare to say Wii has pushed home consoles in MORE than PS3 and X0 combined. How? By getting people (besides of the usual crowd) to play. Sure, there are many likeminded people here, that agree with you. But that is because this place is a place where the newcomers of gaming do not convene. They don't need to. They have no need to boast how much they like their system, or their dislike of a system.
