Yet it being an addon to an existing system remains a problem in itself. Yes, I can imagine there could be multiplats for X0 and Wii, but I still must ask you people: does a regular joe or average sally go out and buy a drastically differing controller for X0?
Also, can MS truly cater to both crowds? Nintendo is trying all the time, yet it gets jeered for doing so, called "casual" and "betrayer of HC gaming". Could Microsoft honestly get a good "casual...
Doubt it. Unless Bungie is to make a patch for it, and that... Well, the arcade system in itself kind of forbids the whole thing, seeing it doesn't have a hdd to begin with.
The hate, it makes me giddy.
*Wall of text hits KeiZka for over 9000 damage. KeiZka dies.*
Captions, my dear friend, are sometimes necessary.
Problem here is, that it is an additional gadget. Not something you can incorporate to existing software and such. And that creates problems. Does it work with earlier games? Nope. Will the upcoming games support both controller schemes, as in the pad and boxmote? Doubtful at best. It is as you say, an eyetoy of a sort. And unless MS doesn't start an aggressive campaign with this one, it's not going to work out.
Also, I can't imagine MS having two entirely different lines of t...
Dated hardware? Oh, what an argument, what an argument... That dated hardware is the hardware that is currently selling most worldwide. That oughta put some serious consideration on priorities.
If we go by "Dated hardware" card, then your PS3 and X0 are already dated. We do have PCs, at least those do who are doing well enough to have the cash required to stay on top.
"The original lawsuit, filed in 2006, stated that Nintendo infringed on the company’s patent during the designs of the Wii Classic, Wavebird and Gamecube controllers. Neither the Wii Remote or the Nunchuck controllers were named in the suit according to Nintendo spokesman Charlie Scibetta, who also expects the amount to be reduced following an appeal."
Wait, what? Right. Last I checked Gamecube controllers had been on the market since 2001, and Wavebirds since what, 2...
I'd gladly go and buy a plethora of games, but I have this little distict restriction: they cost 60-65€ over here. And that's quite a bit. About what, $90 per game? or more? That's just sick, I say...
Just like they were going to release MH3 on PSP, eh? or PS3 for that matter...
Thing don't always go as one wishes them to go.
Have a good day.
Yet if you truly want "Best of the best" in the graphical department, PC is your home. And I still argue that M+KB combination is superior to pad controls.
And PS3's got haze, killzone..? I really wouldn't go and claim PS3 offerings are that "magnificient", not just yet. But it'll get it'sgoodies too, sooner or later. Every console is bound to.
Lately, Nintendomain to be truthful...
O shi-! I know several people who'd want to get their hands on this only because it has Haruhi Suzumiya on it...
Wii didn't get that much of a praise either... namely, thanks for it being so underpowered, no devs ready to even take notion of it thanks to it silly name to begin with... Oh well, every new system has its traps to overcome, eh?
I have this novel idea here going on for me...
Howabout getting Wii, PS3 and maybe even 360? To have the best of all worlds? And add a semi-powerful PC to equation and I'd be winning in all fronts.
That's what I'm aiming for right now.
Go go brits basically being the 51st state of US. But anyhoo, let's use the pirate bay as an example. That's a site that won't go down before there's a drastic change in law in Sweden. I bet there are some other sites too. Where is Mininova located?
Good luck to them trying to shut down foreign sites. Yes, there is life outside US, quite hi-tech one too.
it's supposed to be hard... like leveling again from 0-60.
Yes... Let's do the exact same thing what we did two years ago but with better graphics. Is that what you honestly want?
Adding in itself doesn't hurt. It's just that it's away from something other that is under R&D. I mean... MS could use the dough put into this to do something else as well? Plus they'd probably have to start bundling them with systems to get them "well-known" to begin with...
