If any place should be void of Brand loyalty, it should be Europe. Seeing how that continent doesn't even have a brand to call its own in "Console war", they should be free to decide anyway, to any direction. Americans have some sort of "homeland duty" I guess, with X0... which is stupid. As is the Japanese attitude towards foreign consoles, the resentment of X0 over there... Stupid. And pointless.

The machine in itself is irrelevant. Lineup isn't. I do want to see MGS4 on my own TV. Then again, I do want to see Fable 2 on my own TV as well.

To me a it's a sign of hotheadedness if you start repeating yourself over and over again. I have no doubt that, with time, PS3 may climb to the par with X0, and even surpass it. But that is something that is to be seen with time. Also, seeing how things are for now, I doubt either of those consoles are going to lack games. Some of them might become multiplats, but that's merely understandable. Also, everyone wants to his own choice of console to win, understandable as well. But to go and spro...
And I still don't understand why people are so effing dedicated to one brand. It's not going to do them any good in the long run...
Now you're getting hotheaded. No need to get overly zealous over there, mmkay? Honestly, I give merit where it's due, and I do agree Playstation brand consoles have good games to them. But at the same time I cannot help feeling like some people just bought the console to act as a dvd-player, or with the case of PS3, as a BD-player (that's what I'm doing myself, though games as well are to be on my list. Ya, that's what I've been wondering. I'm going to buy PS3 soonish, both out of curiosity and since it has that BD-player embedded into itself. My only gripe is that the damn thing is quite expensive: $600 for 40gig version over here. You americans have it way too easy (counting only citizens of US).
Ya, there is, but they aren't interactive. The fellas at the board base a lot on that, methinks. To watch is entirely different thing than to do... Well, mostly.

Suddenly I got a vision where X0's Remote could come in handy: Strategy games. I'm still angry at Nintendo for not realising this one truth... What would I pay to get a proper RTS or hell, a solid 4X game on my TV, played from console that has a pointing device as a control method. That would enable me to be a proper recliner general (or general couch potato).

Hardcore, such a nifty little word... I wonder why it wasn't in a wide usage until this generation though. Have to label oneself somehow, to be better than "the one with that lousy thing". Sad as it is.
