Yes, that's exactly why he's a talentless hack, a glory hog etc etc... Because people are infuriated at him since he's working for Nintendo, not their favourite console company of the month. You people make me sick.
EDIT: Also, a list for you little imps to read:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wik...
All the games where Mr. Miyamoto has had an hand in making.
Ya, talentless and just got all those mentions for his work because of pure luck? You, dear sir, fail.
I wouldn't say that based on one review...
In all honesty, they didn't like it. Then again, I've seen sites giving MKWii 9/10, 8/10... I'd say that's more of an anomaly than a norm, that score up there. Metacritic does still offer 82/100, but ya.
Leafs, Wii is still beating both of those "hallowed" consoles regularly when it comes to sales. So I don't know what you're talking about, I really don't.
Well, iconic and iconic... Doubt he has the kind of public awareness Mario or Pacman has...
It was Konami, not Nintendo.
that pic's from Mario Kart Arcade GP, I think. It had some namco characters in it.
Pricing indeed sucks, but it's still better to know that you actually own what you play...
Rainbow Road in MKWii has certain "references" to Galaxy, and then there's Rosalina as well... Small things like that.
Yes, do try to ignite the flaming. That's what you'd like, eh?
Vilification is a nice thing. Do note, that the idea of Autobahn is of German origin (namely from the desk of a nazi official), and similar roads are now everywhere. NSDAP may have done a bit too much things on the worse side, but they did something good as well, as strange as it is. Yes, they were "evil", but then again so was USSR a mere decade afterwards... What Goebbels said: "Repeat something so long it becomes the official truth".
Cmrbe: They didn't get...
Out of curiosity, do you have any sort of backing on that "older demographically" claim you just made?
Umm, suggestion: Try Wiimote/Nunchuk combination. It's almost the same as the GCN controller, tbh. And it works surprisingly well.
Well, there are people who have access to both DD and MKWii at the same time, and on same TV, and then there are people who don't.
I'm with Sidar here.
Oh yes, let's see what we lack in DD: The online component. While it's there, it's not usable by any standards.
Bikes. 'Nuff said.
Wide variety of old and new. Beat that.
Did I mention that online?
...Well, that's quite LAME, to begin with. I saw none of them even try drifting...
You know, peripherals like that do not sell that well to a mass market. It has to be with the machine itself, or it won't make a breakthrough to the market.
Also, while everyone is crying about Nintendo doing the copypaste thing, it's alirght when another company does it and copies directly a competitor? Hypocrisy.
Lame.
Funny, I tend to enjoy the online component, since it actually offers me a challenge. Also, it's always nice to play old games with new graphics, or why is it that fans want that FFVII redone? Pheh.
No problem, and do try it out, the wheel I mean. It didn't do the trick for me, probably because it doesn't feel as good as it does with excite truck, but... Everyone has differing taste, I believe.
You sir, failed immensely right there. What makes a Nintendo game kiddy? Because you say so? That is about the worst retort man has ever invented. "I dnt tuch it cuz its sooo kidday!"
Grow up. Games are, with minor exceptations, for all ages. Not for "Oh so grown up gamers who cannot refrain themselves from calling a company kiddielike".
