PS3 could run run the same gameplay....with way less memory, objects/characters, detail, graphics, lower resolution etc. As is, the title is a lie >_>
If your hardware is specked to run certain speed to feed the ram and cpu data, you need to put the limit somewhere. I think they did right choice to support only gen4 since it's more future proof. Manufacturers currently in Gen3 space are changing the components of their SSD to sell them cheap and they do not even run to the spec they are promised (Linus tech tips even made a video about it). I prefer SC VI to the SC III. SC II had a really fast pace for a fighting game, when new SC III bursted into the scene it felt sluggish when compared to the second one. On SC VI they brought back the quicker pace of the game, but not as much on SC II, though I think it was a good decision. I wish they would go the MK11 route with their games, but we all know that Bandai Namco is not interested, they hardly gave the devs time and money to support SC VI.
There have been lot of manufacturers changing their SSD components during the years for cheaper production, so they drives are not up to snuff that they clamed to be. Linus made a great vid of that. Let's hope those new PCIE 4.0 will not have same fate.

Yeah I saw a video about that, great idea that never came into fruition because of EA management. It went something along the lines that they wanted to steer more to into horror territory and design the whole game around that other one sees everything as is and other is going crazy and seeing hallucinations. EA told them to scrap it, then later told them to add coop because of RE5 was a success. the maps etc. never were designed for it. they never had the time to balance it properly and it sh...
Last halloween played through Dead space 2, loved every second of it. Tried Dead space 3 right after. That cartoony look, love triangle and human enemies, coop partner that you never hear or see when playing alone but appears on the cutscenes (the maps even don't fit two players properly lol)....after 2h I was sick of it and quit the game - delete local content. It's not shit, but it's bad enough when compared to the first and second instalment.
Uhm what? Sony skipping E3 is dumb, yes...but wtf is the rest of that. PS5 is selling out, there are no consoles on the shops, because they sell out....how is that not selling well? Uhm what? MP3 was boring hand holding tunnel shooter. Small cramped maps with 1-2 rooms of enemies and then a cutscene - rinse and repeat until you finish the game. Everything was better in MP2 except the graphics for obvious reasons.
As a casual it was fascinating to see what other things they had never fixed or addressed. I think they could have done more fixes and more characters for another year at least. Sad that it had to end this way.
Teyons last game got 4/10 from IGN....yes I G N. Why on earth would studios give their licences for developers who has a track record like this? unbelievable.
Prepped my Xbox acc and all things for upcoming Win11. Then I check the game pass for fun what they have in there....I already own almost everything I want from their library. Maybe in the future then I guess. Also no, flight simulator and Infinite are not a selling point for me. Forza would be interesting to try.
Isn't MK11 one of the bigger games on EVO, why not support it longer? You have Cyrax and Sektor on the single player story mode....but you cant play as them. wtf nertherrealm?

Same here mostly. After FFX I have not enjoyed any of the new FF they have produced, admittingly I jumped over all the MMO's, they are not for me. Also I have not tried FF7 Remaster more than the demo, waiting it to drop on PC this year (if the rumours are true). FFXV to me felt like a half baked idea of a game with sloppy combat.
Bethesda has not made a decent game since Skyrim. I am not expecting much, prove me wrong Bethesda.
Even the dumbed down graphics and loss of sex appeal aside the gameplay which is the biggest thing in Bayonetta, seems dumbed down. On the D-pad has your hair Kaiju, which seems to be usable everywhere expect the train section in the trailer.....soo every chapter is full of large areas with Kaiju action and no proper bosses like in previous ones? Seems a bit worrying for me.
