The MP portion was decent so that's why reviews or word of mouth did not affect sales that much. it's still mostly MP game. Happy that The Finals came now, way more fun than the MW3 beta I tested.

Faster respawn means more hectic gameplay and chaos, even now there is ALWAYS something happening on the objective. @Ironmike I find this way more enjoyable than latest cods, apex or bf2042. Played 20h on open beta and way more now and still not feeling bored at all.

Teardown, Battlefield bad company/3 and Red faction guerrilla says "hi". It's amazing that we used to have games where you actually can destroy everything, nowadays everything is so static. This has been the better FPS that I have seen since original MW and BF3. The game does not need 120 players or fast paced slide bunny hopping to be good and entertaining.

Larian had to:
- delay the game on Xbox
- get special permission from Xbox to drop the parity to loose coop on the XS
- do extra 3-4 months work on the XS to make it work properly
I think that is very indicative that XS is hindering development. Also even if there was a PS4 or Switch or X0 version coming out, optimizations learned from there ...

MGS1 in 30fps too. Though someone on PC got them running in 4K in the first day and made a mod :)

It's not even that big of a deal to have cod, just make your own. MS tried before making their own and failed, so they just bought it. Also MS "this will be our strongest first party holiday lineup" with COD and Forza :D let's not kid ourselves, Forza ain't that big, cod is doing all the carrying.

It's not meant for everybody. Also if you do not like souls likes, don't play them. There are also easier souls likes, maybe play those.
Accessibility is features that help people with disabilities to play the game. Games difficulty is whole another story, period. We do not need every game to be easy and I would say that Lies of P is not even among the hardest souls likes.
@--Onilink-- Have you lived in a barrel past year? the pc ports have been uttershit all year. The games are optimized to consoles and yes, holding back the PC versions. Ofc there are some that have actually good ports and version like current version of Cyberpunk. The Series S is the same due to 40% lower memory and less gpu power.
Legacy characters sell better :)
