The thing we want to know and see is how the cloud will benefit a game in terms of offloading some rendering because we can see the benefit for multilayer but for generally use I just can't see how it is possible with all the bandwidth and latency issues with the Internet and local hardware. I wish Microsoft would show us a comparison of how it works because they sure as hell are not spending all that money they claim to be spending for nothing.

I think what needs to be done is show us a comparison between using the cloud and not. I don't think it's being used for graphics.... Am really interested in seeing if this concept is real because I just don't see how it is with the latency, bandwidth bottlenecks with the internet.

Hmmm so you can pause the kinect when you don't need it but why can't you outright just swtich the thing off?? Because am sure there are a few people that don't want to use the kinect for navigation or gaming like me. Personally it's something I would sell if I was to buy the Xbox one. I wouldn't have a use for it.
Well it doesn't need to happen any time soon the infrastructure is not there in many countries and internet speeds are not fast enough to justify to time it takes to download a 20gb+ game and let's not forget many ISP have strict caps in many countries thankfully not here in the uk. And if it does come to that I personally will just become a PC gamer as I can have the best of both worlds which is Steam sales and many non drm games that are available from other digital stores.

BS Microsoft BS.... The point of persistent worlds in the first place is that they are always online. My console should not have to be always online to play a single player game or the many games that wouldn't have a persistent world because the game doesn't revolve around those themes.
All they want to do is control the way you use their product or should I say rent it because that's basically what you will be doing if you buy a Xbox one.
True one way to combat it consumers would be to have sales like steam but the thing is knowing Microsoft that will just not happen and also why would someone then buy a Xbox one at that point when a PC will offer them Steam which has a larger collection of games excluding exclusives and also the freedom to purchase games without drm if they want from online stores like gog and let's not forget with a pc you can do anything you want whereas with a console you can only do what Microsoft wan...
The thing is compared to the PS3 the Xbox360 has a higher rate of privacy. Just search Xbox360iso and Ps3iso and see the difference so that comment is invalid. All this is a way for Microsoft to get some money out of the used market like the publishers want.

The point is why does my physical copy of the game have to become fairy bits that is stored on my HDD in the first place?? Why can't it just stay as a physical copy like I brought it. Not at all surprising to me as Xbox is somewhat more popular than Sony I think but if people knew the quirks and policies that the Xbox one has then it will be a different story.

In terms of Content and policy wise Sony have a massive edge but I will say Microsoft are not completely out of the Content competition yet they might just surprise us as long as the games they show are not FPSs or kinect enabled because Microsoft already has more than enough exclusive FPS games they need more variety back.
If Microsoft reconsidered there ridiculous polices especially kinect been required to use the system then they will have more of a chance.
Well there is still 6 new IP's xbox fans can always look forward apart from the two that is known so far being Quantum Break and Ryse. Hopefully for them they are mostly non kinect.
Am not surprised considering the average joe won't know all the issues that are attached to it which is why I see the people especially parents who are buying the xbox one don't really know what they are getting themselves into because they will assume the policies are the same with the 360.
Am pretty sure if more people especially parents research more it wouldn't be this high. It's the policies that will ruin Xbox one in the end.
So why didn't they start at their reveal? You shouldn't be giving your competition any chances if you want to truly kill them that means coming out guns blazing from the start.

Even the $$$ Sony spent on content are mostly exclusive content like 60 minutes extra gameplay in watch dogs not just on stupid timed DLC that you will eventually get on every platform.
