If they really cared then no 180s would have been needed in the first place nor would the pre-180 policies.
Kinda like they cared when the drm was announced but they waited until 2 weeks after E3 to reverse it when they had time after their initial reveal.
@dark-hollow
In my eyes Gears is dead and am a massive gears head it has not only lost it's vision (in terms of MP) but the people that made Gears what it is have all left Epic so faith in Gears is quite low.
ahh Twitter the destroyer of jobs when will this people learn... smh.
Lmao at people will upgrade their set up to play Ghost.... Call of duty has never been a demanding game and I don't expect that to change with Ghost.
"Yet sales of specialty PCs like gaming systems and work stations continue to grow"
Hmm I was under the expression the OEM market has a whole was shrinking while the hardware market booms as more people build their own pc.
Couldn't have said it any better bubble :)
Well said. I agree they seem very confused with their vision atm. I was just stating it's great news for people buying an Xbox one. All these 180's make it more attractive to me but I then remember their initial unveiling and that shows me more of what their vision is i think and am not interested in that vision.
And the 180 train keeps on rolling making the Xbox one more and more attractive. Makes me wonder why Xbox one was like this pre E3 and before the beginning of the 180s. Was it an attempt to try and get away with some anti-consumer polices? Or was it mainly the influence of don mattrick that these policies where in place and after his departure sense was restored at MS? Kinda like the former Windows chief (Steven Sinofsky) leaving and now MS are fixing things with Windows 8.1.

Exactly... A smartphone is still 99% functional without internet - Calls, SMS, Apps all still work fine. Only thing that won't is your browser and apps that need internet to work.
A very stupid statement to try justify MS actions.
Am liking the new video style from MS. This are the kind of things companies need to do more - Tell their customers more about their product. One of the reason I love Sony and their many PS channels.
The new thumbsticks look like a nice improvement over the X360 and it's great that all you need now is a micro-usb for it to be wired.
@edonus
All those apps are mostly proprietary by nature.... If you look at apps in general platform to platform they tend to take advantage of most aspects available on the platform so apps like netflix having voice commands, gesture controls etc are just enhancing and taking advantage of what's available on the xbox platform which is kinect. They are doing this through developer api's and the sdk's provided by MS to build apps for the xbox. I doubt MS pays devs ...
The CPU in the APU's are not that weak if you use them right. The problem is that on a per-core basis yes they are weak than most CPUs but when all cores are used (Multithreading then they are quite good). That's the problem with amd cpu cores in general they need to be multithreaded for the most to be gotten out of them.
Exactly X360 came with them why won't Xbox one?
Can't we just wait until the consoles to actually arrive and benchmarked, all features and games announced before doing this again?
Also more powerful *on paper* and has most of it's features not behind a paywall.
"Haha. Unlimited Storage > this."
Games saves don't take that much data so it's not that special either but still unlimited > 1GB. That unlimited storage is only for XBL content which is mostly already stored on servers anyway ( You profile, licenses, etc).
"4. Automatic game updates"
XBL doesn't provide this so...
Agreed especially the part on competition. Consoles are closed systems there is no way a steam only model will work in the console space IMO.
I have had it for a while since I got in the beta luckily :p ... Just got another update today. It makes things a lot clearly IMO.
The only problem is that it's not really F2P on Xbox like Lukree puts it. It's Pay-for-F2P.
Ahhhh the guys behind Github's server stack <3. While we are in good hands what every they're planning.
I disagree. Steam works because there is a lot of competition on the pc space. MS wouldn't be comparing with Sony or Nintendo because they are all separate platforms. Publishers will have a field day with prices.
Also what they were doing pre 180 was about getting more control to them and publishers by turning physical disc into digital ones even though digital copies where going to be available for all games day one. It's either all digital or leave like it is now w...
