Man Kinect 2.0 is looking to be a great upgrade with some useful features like the avatar scanning but in my eyes it is still a tough sell as I don't agree with idea of motion control for any kind of serious gaming i.e oculus rift, Kinect, wii, move. etc. I have always seen the kinect as a great device for things outside gaming or as a hobbyist device. Like the early news of it helping with sign language.
All in all Kinect 2.0 is looking like a great upgrade and what Kine...
Never played Dead rising before (maybe I should :p) but this game is looking heller fun with nice visuals and physics.... There is so much to do. Definitely a great launch title for people getting the Xbox one.
Still it's kinda of an excuse to cover the fact that the game will not be finished in time. So without this additional content does that mean one can't finish the career mode or will they just have a somewhat gimped experience i wonder?
Yep it's time they showed us a direct feed already we can't fully judge the game. I guess we have to wait till gamescom but yh well said...
Am not a big racing fan but compared to forza driveclub has a bigger and richer world.
And it becomes over-priced when a person doesn't want it because they don't like motion gaming or navigating the UI with their hands.
Not everyone wants or will use a kinect.
Sunset Overdrive is looking like what Overstrike should have been but instead it became the mediocre fuse.... It's a shame it's a Xbox one exclusive but looking forward to some gameplay sounds wacky and fun :D
Well this is what Microsoft has been talking about along using the cloud|(azure) for things like physics and AI which games like watchdogs and Forza 5 are using. What we are yet to see is how much it affects a game in making it better and if latency will be a problem if you have a slow connection.
This was known since the reveal they are not copying Sony. Sites are just fishing for hits. However I would say I prefer Sony's implementation since you can choose to download either single player or multiplayer first.
No... The Consumers who don't preorder when the policies where in place deserve credit. If they really wanted to changed it then it would have been done prior to E3 when all the speculation and polices where in full force not about a week or so after E3 when consumers knew a bit better what they were getting and the price.
He's not the one making the articles.... All it is sites spinning things he said at the talks he has done Gamelab and Develop In Brighton 2013. So it's not really he's fault. These sites are just hungry for hits. Also and the n4g moderation with duplicates has been piss poor lately.
Also this title is a bit misleading read the article.
Indies?? Really come on now I doubt the announced games are going to be indie titles. When MS and Sony talk about exclusives like that they have always meant AAA games. Well we will wait until Gamescom and TGS to see if they are then.
And even if we include indies as well then the list will only get bigger Warframe, Warthunder, SOE games compared to KI. That's just for free to play games which follow the free to play model as you don't need PS+ to play them.
Metal Gear is not even on the list btw and so far Sony have 5 more exclusives than Microsoft that are coming in the first year. So them having more studios hasn't changed much so far.
The thing is the Family sharing can still easily work now as long as there was a opt-in option for people who wanted it. All people need to do is buy the game digitally which they can day one and maybe they could either have it that you have to be connected to play the at any time or even use the 24hr online checks. Not of it had to go they could have made it all optional and used it as an incentive to bring people into their digital world but for whatever reason it was taken away.

One can only try :)
There's too many duplicates on n4g seriously. Again people are miss understanding what he is saying.
This statement is just stating the advantages of consoles compared to pc's in that it's a static hardware base which can be improved dramatically as the years go by once developers understand the architecture. Cerny here is just saying they have customised (Super-charged) the basic pc architecture( x86, 64bit, CPU, GPU, etc) to future proof it more than just using ...
Well both next-gen consoles offer more customisation than a standardised PC in the sense that both are not just using off the shelf parts but have heavy customised APU's, etc that you wouldn't find anywhere.
People are mixing this with the idea of being able to customise a PC to their liking. Cerny is not referencing to that but to the additions they have done to futher improve the base hardware they have ( CPU, GPU, etc). He's saying the have customised that stat...
Yep this statement has been over blown for no reason it's just stating the advantages of consoles compared to pc's in that it's a static hardware base which can be improve dramatically as the years go by once developers understand the architecture. Cerny here is just saying they have customisation it a bit more to future proof it more than just using off the shelf pc parts.
People keep on using used games as an argument but why is it the every other form of media such as movies, music are still booming with having a used market? A used market will always exist as long as there is a physical product that can be resold. Each market has a used and digital market and are doing fine why is gaming so different?
Game development needs to be more streamlined and careful with budgeting that's what needs to happen. Why is so much spent on marketing th...
Well good luck to them the more competition the better for all of us. Xbox one looks like a great console but I just can't agree with the current policies that ruin the console atm. Forced Mandatory Kinect for functionality, their indie stance when their is now basically a standard of self publishing on most other platforms Nintendo,Sony,PC, the value of Xbox live ( a bit better now there is dedicated servers for MP games) and placing some things behind a paywall compared to PSN.
