I for one am happy with this because after playing Max payne 3 recently I can say the gunplay is far superior to GTA IV's. And also the fact that guns never disappeared was nice but it doesn't look like that is returning :(
Yep... Big thing to note is this he clearly says Xbox live content not user content. "numerous types of Xbox Live content, profile, games, Achievements and entertainment".
Yh agreed after looking at awesomeperson's comment I realised it because your profile,achievements, are already on their servers(history) or on your hard drive but it's only a few kbs of data for that. Games, movies, music are just licences connected to your account. If the games were stored in the cloud like movie and music then they would have to be streamed but we have already been told that ius not the case since they have said they have it easier and faster to download the games ...

Like Dir_en_grey and awesomepeople have pointed out that's how it's going to work. The have not said they will allow you to upload stuff to the cloud. That would be insane and stupid because of piracy and the fact they already have a cloud storage service (Skydrive) that charges for storage it could cannibalize some of the sales from that. But still this is a nice feature that is not behind a paywall like usual.
This will be good for Xbox one gamers who are going all digital and run out of space to keep their games and it's free to all Xbox one gamers. I doubt they will allow you to upload your own content because they have skydrive which they charge for more space it could cannibalise of sales of that and also piracy. All in all it looks like Microsoft is changing for the better. Probs to Micro for adding more value to the Live.

I can understand if you don't like the current-line-up of games and features but ram. really. People need to calm down. Ram was a issue this gen but ...
I never really understood the ram number advantage debate considering developers have not complained yet and both consoles have shown ram size shouldn't be an issue this gen look at how beautiful Ryse/Forza and Infamous/Killzone look. There are a number of devs that have said they don't even know what to do with it. I don't think it matters too much on either side of the pond.

In fairness Sony never said anything about 7GB being for games that was all from the rumor mill. And when they said it's up to developer's they were referring to the online passes which are now thankfully gone mostly thanks to EA dropping it and Sony now also as they are charging for online now. But yh I agree Sony need to talk more about their OS considering MS will be doing more Tv, Snapping etc such a big footprint shouldn't be needed.

I was just pointing out the what Stsonic said is true benchmarks show AMD get a massive boost with higher clocked ram which is why MS went with 2133mhz. It was even said they wanted to go with ddr4 but due to limitation with manufacturing it in time.
True like Mark Cerny explained it shouldn't be much of a issue or they wouldn't have used it in the first place

Ok calm down. Yes every device comes with stuff that you don't want or need but most often than not these features can be disabled or ignored. Like your trackpad you can disable it if you want but you can't do that with the kinect since it's required for the Xbox one to actually work.
You're right which is why MS is using 2133mhz ddr3 if the rumoured specs are right.

The price of the Xbox one with Kinect i think is acceptable if you want Kinect that is if not then no because not everyone will use it or wants it which is where the problems lies.
Cloud we are yet to see how it really improves games but dedicated servers for all Multiplayer yes am jelly. Kinect can't care less. I don't care or believe in motion controls for gaming.
I agree most of the preview was mostly using the in-game engine and if you compare the cut scenes to the small gameplay they showed at 3.38 and all the gameplay we have seen so far then you will see they are all similar yh the cut scenes are nicer but they are close to the actual graphics in game. This is the advantage of next-gen consoles.
I don't see a price drop seeing has Microsoft said they are not going to sell it at a loss and am sure the Kinect cost a lot to make and the R&D. $499/£429 is a good price for the inclusion of the kinect if you like it and believe in kinect and motion gaming i think. Considering the PS4 camera cost $60/£45 and the kinect is more advance I don't see how they can drop the price by that much. We will have to wait a few years for manufacturing to get cheaper i think.
