A few years ago, the idea of an Elder Scrolls game on consoles was ridiculous... yet I've seen many a complaint from you and your ilk about Skyrim's problems on PS3.
And not only that, but pretty much any situation involving a PC game making its way to 360 riles up PS3 fans who lament Microsoft's "greedy, pay-check writing tactics."
If you know anything about PC development, you'd also know how easy it is to un-click a box that would...
I was going to say this.
Most likely, someone will create mods for this, and I can force a higher resolution for the game with my hardware. It doesn't matter what the lazy devs do.
In this case, the devs are actually lazy. Even CoD ports aren't straight ports.
Is the guy in your avatar pic you?
I know of six people who owned a PS3 and bought a 360 afterwards for Halo 3.
But I don't know anyone who had a PS3 only that bought a 360 for ODST or Reach.
Halo 3 was a very big game.
Halo 4 brings back the Master Chief and Cortana but there's no more Sergeant Johnson, Miranda Keyes, Lord Hood, the Flood, Gravemind, Arbiter, Prophet of Truth, etc, so one can't be sure about how well it will be received among Halo fans who are in ...
The difference between this site and Neogaf is like the difference between the kid's table and the adult table at dinner.
The random weapon respawn is going to operate under a predictable pattern, according to Frank O' Connor on Neogaf.
Basically, it means that you'll still be able to control respawn points but it'll force you and your team to move around the map more multiple times during the match.
It's a bit more tedious but it's not as irritating as I thought it was going to be when I first read about the feature.
COD wannabe?
I think you're taking it a little far. Arguably, the Halo franchise is one of the least affected by the COD juggernaut.
Killzone, Crysis, Medal of Honor, and even Battlefield have dramatically changed in gameplay mechanics to mimic aspect of Call of Duty.
What has Halo done?
Weapon loadouts? Armor abilities? Random weapon respawn?
Pretty small changes in contrast to the 6 hour, overly scri...
"Never said they couldn't be. Just that Jade is in her position for mainly one reason."
Prove it. You're making a claim that she's incompetent, and yet the Assassin's Creed series has been very successful under her leadership.
If the MAIN REASON why she was hired was for her looks alone, the production would have crumbled at the onset of the series in 2008. Either she's doing an excellent job, or she's a puppet and someon...
Steam isn't on PS3.
Yawn. Do you ever talk about anything else?
Kings of budget gaming. Woohoo.
Maybe Halo 4 will make 360 awesome again.
Insomnium, please get over yourself.
The new wave of atheists are so bloody annoying.
"NPD group's sample size in the US is around 60% of the market."
That's impossible. And unnecessary. A 5 percent sample would be just as reliable. Market research firms can't afford to keep tabs on 60 percent of the market. I know this because I worked for one.
The metric for reviewing has changed. Knock 10 to 15 percent off the reviews for most highly marketed titles like Halo or Cod or Uncharted or GTA and it makes more sense.
Why would you personally pick a team that has a track record of not finishing their projects, riding the coattails of more successful developers, and producing inferior sequels?
1 - Buy a book on humor
2 - Read it.
3 - ?????
4 - Stop using old memes.
"Here is a fun fact for the people. If you look at all the scores for Kinect on N4G altogether it adds up to 6.0."
That fact is about as important as the dump I took five minutes ago.
Everything a man does, he does for sex. Everything.
So it's unfair that you would call one small subset of men white knights just to make yourself feel like you're above human nature.
The haircut you got, for the sex.
The car, for the sex.
The shoes, sex.
When you work out, when you shave, when you pick out an outfit for the day, it's all for the sex.
So, yeah, these guys might seem like perverts, but they...
The loss they incurred was double their expectation.
Nobody happily pays for anything, "dedicatedtogamers."
People begrudgingly pay for LIVE because one or two good games offer compelling multiplayer.
For me, there's not a single game on PS3 that offers a multiplayer experience compelling enough for me to pay a fee.
On 360, currently there's nothing. There's a chance Halo 4 will be worth it, but I'll have to see how the multiplayer turns out.
