Well, Dante, sometimes something is useless during one point in time and then becomes useful later on.

Either way, I don't think Logicwins ever made a post saying BluRay was useless.

Oh yeah, definitely.

If your CPU is older than Sandy Bridge, Ivy Bridge is clearly the way to go, although in some cases, SB processors in the i5 line outdo the IV i5s in bother performance and power usage.

The 6xx series is disappointing. If I were you I'd wait until the Maxwell line (7xx series) because right now both Nvidia and Intel are on a Tock point in their production cycles.

Ivy bridge increases performance theoretically by 10 to 15 percent, but in real world terms it doesn't do anything meriting a purchase. The Haswell line will be the Tick line to wait for.

How can you patent the concept of using your network as a way of gathering people if Facebook and a slew of other networks have done it first?

If Sony merely wants to protect the assets of its own system, it needs to include the rule in its TOS, not file a patent to make its systems the only ones that can be used to gather people together.

Hey, SilentNegotiator

Try giving evidence instead of spewing out abstractions like "hollow" and "shallow."

Unlike you and your kind, I gave evidence for my claims.

You're only attacking me because I made a negative comment about a Sony exclusive. Think about that for a moment. There's a button inside of your mind that deals solely with Sony, and when it's pressed, you react.

You said GTAIV wa...

From my experience with GTA IV, weird things happen often, and it's fun.

You'll be walking around the city and a thief will run by, followed by police.

Or two motorists will get into an accident and start yelling at each other, and one of them will pull out a baseball bat.

GTA IV isn't lifeless at all. Just walk around and those things will happen.

That's great. When someone develops a 6-hour game with "tons" of replay value, let me know.

I prefer long RPGs with multiple branches for the choices you make. Thus, not only is the game long, it also has replay value. Example: Kotor.

I also like Fallout 3. It's my guilty pleasure. It just crashed on me, though.

Account for inflation.

Games made prior to the onset of consoles didn't require teams of 100 or more, didn't have multiple game engine designers, didn't go through beta testing, etc.

But game development costs drop off after the initial investment into the new gen.

The reason why Activision doesn't use a new engine for every COD they make is because it saves them a ton of money. The cost of developing each COD following MW1 h...

Why is the term "Confession of a..." almost always used by women, and so frequently?

Can women be a little bit more creative when they write articles? Men are accused of being gore-crazy, violence-loving action-junkies, but is that any worse than women who always refer to their articles as "confessions"?

Why do you think people will care that you were at your boyfriend's house and decided to see what all the hubbub was about with vide...

Because EA, Activision, Ubisoft, and other publishers are publicly traded corporations that need to find new ways to raise their revenues. They raise the price of games and then blame piracy and the rising cost of game development due to new tech. Both of these are BS statements. The price of tech stays relatively the same after slight peaks during the release of new tech.

It's the reason why a mid-level laptop today costs the same as a mid-level laptop did two years a...

The part of the game where I realized that I didn't really like Kratos and couldn't sympathize with him at all was when he was sidling along a ledge and some poor citizen was hanging on and begging for help, and me as Kratos needed to get across and the guy was in my way, and having no other choice, I smashed this guy's face into the wall a couple of times and threw him off the ledge.

I wasn't give a choice to do anything else.

And so, I thoug...

"Having variety by having multiple TVs to choose from is a bad thing?"

Yes. The average consumer isn't looking to spend the next two hours of his/her life standing in the television section, wondering if model XJ-N4848024Z is better than 2T-K938402X.
