That is indeed a bold claim.
I like the look of Reach so I guess that claim will be justified or debunked when I get my hands on it.
I've already pre-purchased MOH on Steam.
There's nothing wrong with having sequels as long as they are actually good games that at least get incrimentally better with each iteration. Nothing wrong with that at all.
You do need to also try and keep things fresh though by introducing new franchises. How many big name first party, new franchises has come out of Microsoft Game Studios this gen? Neither gears nor Mass Effect are first party, Alan Wake is a good game but it's not exactly a big name in the same vei...
That's a terrible analogy lol.
The reason it's terrible is because in business, which is what Sony and Microsoft are in, quantity (i.e. world wide sales) IS the most important thing.
Of course quality is needed in there too as quality leads to quantity, or at least it should.
Absolutely no chance lol.
I can't even be convinced to buy a COD game anymore never mind pay to play it online.
Is this guy for real? Sony don't care about Move?
Is that why they are patching games like Heavy Rain, Resident evil to have it along with designing their flagship FPS and TPS with integrated Move support? Or why they are lining up like 15 or so release titles? (I think 15 or so was mentioned at E3 for Move launch).
It's very hard to take this guy seriously when everything Sony have shown so far debunk his claims.

lol love Jaffe
Decent numbers all round but the Wii and DS just continue to do amazingly well
iPhones are good enough devices, I just don't like the platform.
Time Crisis and Sorcery have kinda made me interested in Move, along with support for core games such as Socom and Killzone 3.
I'm not convinced yet but I am watching closely.
Releasing it last was by far and away the very least of the PS3's problems when things maybe weren't going so well for the machine.
The massive price tag alienated millions and the complex architecture resulting in bad ports and reduced 3rd party support were far far bigger issues along with the lack of games early in the console's life.
Hell even the state of the PSN early on was a bigger problem than releasing last.
Had those pr...
I need to give GOW3 another play through!
Still undecided on this game. I'll grab the demo and have a go. Even then I might still wait for it to drop in price before picking it up.
I spent a few quid on that Steam sale so I've got other games to get through atm anyway lol.
You don't see PS3 exclusives on PC because that is exactly what PS3 exclusives are. Exclusive to the system.
The casual, family friendly line-up didn't surprise me at all, I think everyone expected there to be an element of that from Microsoft and also from Sony.
What surprised me was Microsoft's lack of any real core game support for Kinect. I could have sworn Molyneux said in the past that fable would be getting Kinect support, or Natal support as it was known at the time.
Not even counting the Forza demo, that wasn't even a live demo.
There's a story link I won't be clicking on.
GT5 looks to be a fantastic game and I can't wait to get my hands on it along with MILLIONS of others.
Win Mobile 7 doesn't come in anywhere, technically. It hasn't been released yet.
Man I loved Blood Gulch in the original Halo, sooooo many hours spent in that map.
Last time I actually looked forward to a Halo game was Halo 2 (which disappointed me but w/e) but I'm starting to like the look of Reach and I mean come on...there's Blood Gulch!!!
My only concern is whether or not the OS is suited to running the kind of games that would run on a PSP2. Windows Mobile 7 is surely suited to being obviously a phone but running mobile phone standard apps/games surely? Would MGS: Peace Walker or GOW: Ghost of Sparta run well on the WinMo7 OS?
If it could do those kinds of things well along with run good apps and be a phone with great phone functionality then I wouldn't mind it being designed on WinMo7 at all.

PS3: The third fastest selling console of all time. Third only to the PS2 and the Wii.
