Oh and the Square Enix/Eidos pack is INSANE.
The games that go sale for just 24 hours are also pretty crazy. So many good deals to be had on steam right now. Simply don't get this anywhere else.
Dedicated servers for gears 3 along with a robust Beta programme for the multiplayer aspect of the game will go a very long way to renewing faith in the Gears multiplayer experience.
I really hope they do this, can't wait to get my hands on some Gears next year!
Sony were the first to test out motion gaming with the EyeToy although it didn't do so well. On that basis I believe Sony have always kinda wanted to play with motion control gaming.
It can't be denied though that the stellar success of the Wii clearly inspired Sony and Microsoft to get more serious about it.
The result is Sony have created easily the most capable motion gaming solution and will try to do what they always do and cater for every genre ...
I prefer "We always wanted to get into motion gaming since we released the Eyetoy"

Pick up both Uncharted games, play them in order.
Pick up God Of War 3 and take out your rage on the gods.
Those will be a good start.
If they can master how this tech works then games could get majorly better.
Imagine the possibilities as it develops over time and is refined. Imagine what a game like Uncharted 2 would be like using this kind of tech over conventional motion capture.
Looking forward to more on L.A. Noire also.

It does seem a very harsh budget but I can't help thinking that tough changes had to be made considering the position Labour put the UK in.
Prototype started out awesome but I ended up getting bored mid way through and didn't bother completing it. Same thing happened to me with the original Assassin's Creed, because of which I haven't bothered with AC2. Not sure I'd be much interested in Prototype 2 unless they could really display it's very much improved.
I remember this same kind of test was done maybe a year or 18 months ago with very much the same results.
Personally I don't think a SSD is worth the price tag for a PS3 even if you do play a LOT of PSN games. A good HDD is perfectly sufficient.
As for SSD's, I'll be picking one of those up when I get around to building a new PC.
I watched the HipHopGamer Show on Sunday, when he was talking to Jaffe on the E3 floor Jaffe mentioned he'd love to do a PSN Movie.
Oh yeah and a dark, serious slasher movie based on Sweet Tooth would be awesome if it was done right.
Ok so no hardcore games for Kinect. There goes any chance of me ever buying one for my 360.
Sadly we've pretty much come to expect this kind of garbage from Turn 10.
I'm assuming he didn't comment on the on stage demo of Forza with Kinect when the guy doing the demo was lagging behind the on screen cursor, clearly showing this was a video rather than an actual demo.
So much fail in Turn 10, they really should learn to keep their mouths shut.
The first game was awesomesauce.

This concludes my reasons for buying inFAMOUS 2.
PSN has tons of great content.
What you should have said is it better give you access to great content.
XBLA shouldn't have been mentioned as it doesn't offer a similar service.
All you lose is access to playing the free games you download. If you take up membership again you regain access.
Any of the other discounted stuff and free themes etc. you get to keep forever.
If they start to offer some better content I'll probably take up a subscription.

The 250 gig HDD is a very nice upgrade though.
I bought the Rockstar Collection which includes that DLC but I bought it when it was on sale a few months back, it was cheaper then too. The Rockstar Pack that is up there now cost me £29.99 a few months ago, like £15 less than it is now but even that is still a ridiculously low price for every R* game.
