The Yakuza PS3 is the most gorgeous of the lot, followed by the Halo Reach 360.
Those Halo themed Xboxes imo are ugly as sin, not so much the design but the shade of green, particularly on the 360 model, design on it is nice but the colour is horrible.
The MW2 360 is pretty cool, it's the coolest looking 360 in the list after the Halo: Reach model.
I'm happy to hear the game has been commercially successful.
Quantic Dream took a big risk making this game as did Sony in publishing it but it was very much worth the risk.
The majority of people who have played it love it, reviewers loved it for the most part so I'm glad it's paid off financially aswell because even though Sony are all about this kind of innovation it justifies their decision to be like that and will encourage more of it in the ...
Hope you get back into work soon mate, I was made redundant last year too and it's not fun, but am back in work so I'm lucky.
And yeah man when you get back on your feet, Heavy Rain is definitely worth a buy.
Now I'm going to feel terrible about buying The Force Unleashed 2.
Depending what else is out around that time I might end up buying it used...I just begrudge Activision any of my money.
It's not an actual dynamic theme but if it was then it would most certainly be the most awesome dynamic theme to date
Video was funny lol.
The guy really doesn't like Kinect all that much and tbh I share his lack of enthusiasm for the device, well not so much the device it's the games for the device I dislike. I don't however share his view that it will fail.
As for the ending of the video, that was just non serious and purely comical...very funny indeed.
Interesting read that was. Although never going to be sold on Kinect until there's some good core games for it. However I fear, as Irishboy 1210 says, Kinect isn't for the average N4G reader.
Absolutely horribly written article but...
My favourite PS3 games this year have been God of War 3 and after that, Heavy Rain. Modnation Racers is a ton of fun too.
Obviously not everyone working for gamestop is like that but the amount of stories you hear of people and their experiences in the place is quite staggering.
No smoke without fire and all that.
With that said though, the guy made too big a deal of the whole issue. No need to go to the lengths he did, should have either just said no thanks and bought his arcade sku or have said no thanks and went and given his money to another store.
How this was ever worthy of an article is mind boggling.
How it managed to get approved is even more so.
SP looks fantastic, didn't do much of the beta myself despite having access but for all those people talking crap about the beta I hope you went to the forums and left feedback, instead of just playing it, not liking it for whatever reason and leaving it at that. There will be others who will have done it and if there's enough people saying something then they'll change it.
How MP will be in the final game can't really be judged on experience in a beta test.
Kotaku do indeed have a bit of a history for unnecessary Sony bashing articles, all stemming from the fiasco with Home and how Sony reacted to it.
They deny it and then get caught doing this stuff. I've never much liked Kotaku anyway, apart from the review system they employ which doesn't carry a scoring system and simply has an opinion on the game.
I bought my PS3 to play PS3 games.
I originally had a BC PS3 but had to have it replaced and while it was nice being able to play some old PS2 games on it, losing BC was not the end of the world.
Besides with all the amazing PS3 games hitting us thick and fast who has time for Backwards Compatibility?
Pretty pointless article tbh.
GT5 will be amazing and the whole awful loading time thing has been debunked. If the Nurburgring loads as fast as in the undoctored video then the other tracks will likely be much quicker.
It's real bad when people are comparing load times of different games on different platforms that use different media, hardware and different technologies that make them work, just because they happen to be exclusives to 2 separate platform...
I can't wait to see whatever it is they reveal.
Loved every Insomniac game on PS3 and this next one will likely be no exception.
If this is true it has a ton of potential. If they get the hardware right, which is important to me. Any SE phone I've ever had my hands on has a resistive touch screen which I absolutely hate. If it had a capacitive touch screen with other good hardware layout it'll be great.
If it gets good game support and Android software update support on top of that then it could be a resounding success.
What he means is they are biased against Sony.
They have been ever since the Home incident.
Just scored the 1000 hit combo Trophy in GOW3, after god knows how many attempts getting interrupted at 800+ hits and even once at 940.
What was this article about again?
I don't think Sony "NEED" to do anything other than show us unseen features/footage of their upcoming games and if they have any unannounced stuff ready, throw that in there too.
I think the onus is on Microsoft at the moment to step up to the plate and by that I mean show something other than their 3 usual big exclusives and those Kinect games that made some of us almost vomit at E3. I would dearly love MS to blow me away with something, I really would.
...
It would be great for PS3 only owners who want to play the game but I'll believe it when I see it.
It would be a bit of a blow to Microsoft's "exclusive" line up if it is true, it's something they and Greenberg liked to flaunt.
