I don't get midnight launches I really don't
Pre-order and go pick it up in the morning then sit and play.

Honestly I'd prefer Microsoft to invest in 1st party exclusive IP that isn't an FPS and not a Kinect game.

I loved Killzone 2's intensity and the way it just made you feel like you were in this intense, brutal war every step of the way.
Killzone 3 looks like it's going for the same thing and I honestly can't wait to try it out with the Move. The video showing off how Move works in KZ3 is just fantastic.
Roll on 2011, Killzone 3, inFAMOUS 2 and Ico/SOTC Collection along with The Last Guardian. Oh and Twisted Metal....can't forget that!
I love that Sony add regular updates that add things and functionality in.
I'm getting anxious though. anxious to see some gaming features added that a lot of people are going to get frequent and awesome use out of.
I'm not one of the people who cries about no cross game chat with every update, far from it but I'd just like to see something cool added sooner rather than later.
I'm just ecstatic that the Ico/SOTC Collection is being released as I missed those games on PS2 and have wanted to try them.
I can wait for some more solid gameplay details and I'm sure there will be quite a bit shown at next E3 for us all.
From what we know of TLG so far though it's shaping up to be a truly beautiful game and makes me very happy to be a Playstation owner.
Christ I love being a gamer right now, I'm now off til Tuesday so just picked up Halo Reach, for some reason I felt like buying Onimusha 3: Demon Siege last night on Steam and spent some time there and am trying to decide whether or not I should jump in early to PS Move tomorrow and maybe pick up Sports Champions.
All this is before things like Castlevania and my GT5 Collectors Edition arrive.
This game doesn't look bad either, especially for a downlo...
So you know absolutely nothing about the game, other than what Dante's character model looks like and have decided the game isn't worth your time.
That makes a lot of sense, yeah.
For all you know they'll nail the gameplay and the story will rock too.
Screw all that though, it's all about how the main protagonist looks!
I don't mind the new look.
Now they just have to get the character himself right, the story right and nail the gameplay so still a long way to go.

Think they only run on XP though from the look of things.
If they make another DMC game it has to recapture what made the original game so good.
Anything like DMC2 or 4 and it'll be a waste of time.

I think this decision by Edge is a good one for sure. That way they can get the proper experience to review the game.

I suppose if sales of the SP3 drop substantially on a world wide basis that would be true.
Not likely though, considering even in the US where it's usually behind the 360 and Wii it was the only console to actually witness any growth and probably has done so world wide too.

I never played these on PS2 and I've looked up copies of Ico online and it's CRAZY expensive to try and get a copy of.
£25 for both of them after getting the GOW Collection treatment will be an absolute bargain and one I'd gladly be taking advantage of!
Cross game chat is certainly a nice feature but tbh if I'm trying to play a game and someone is talking away with me then I find it can be distracting and take away my enjoyment.
An example of this is sometimes I'll be sitting playing something on either my PS3, 360 or PC and I'll get a call on Skype. I'll be talking to whoever it is but my full attention is never on either the conversation or the game.

I'm not a Kinect hater as such, I just think it's incredibly limited and as such it's something I'm not going to buy....the only reason for that is because it can't seem to integrate into the games I'd want to use it for which would be the likes of Gears of War.
If they don't make games kike that work well with it, like Sony have been able to do with the likes of Killzone 3 then I'll never buy it.

I agree yet at the same time don't agree with GOTY awards. I feel that such a title is completely subjective and every individual will have their own personal GOTY...that's the reason I disagree with it all.
Then on the flip side, every entertainment industry has awards and the winner of each award will be subjective for fans.

Yes it's a great game and is certainly a GOTY contender but it's also a game soon to be available on 3 separate platforms and upon release was available on 2.
