This game has looked like a crazy amount of fun.
Online Co-Op is just an awesome feature and one the game needed to ship with.

There's nothing wrong with being inspired by aspects of great games and there is certainly nothing wrong with admitting to it, regardless of exclusivity or competition etc.
No doubt the guys at ND had inspirations from other games, some of which may possibly have been exclusive to 360 or PC or whatever.
Inspiration has to come from somewhere after all.

I did the same thing.
I downloaded the demo the same day it was released on PSN and I just thought the gameplay was absolutely terrible.
Weapons were terrible and seemed to have little more effect than a water pistol, gameplay was so slow and clunky....it was just a terrible experience and I sooooo wanted the game to be good as I thought it looked very interesting and that it had some potential.
I didn't want to listen to the gaming site...
They could integrate Google TV but there's no way Sony would be changing the OS altogether.
Would be very difficult to make all back catalogue games work well with it and with Android, along with any OS Google come out with, it's normally open source and quite easily hacked.

Turn 10 may have crafted a good game that many, many people love and spend countless hours with.
However this just reaffirms what a terrible, terrible studio and group they and Microsoft are.
If this was just a GOTY Edition with all existing DLC loaded onto the 2nd DVD nobody would care, GOTY editions are the norm and simply designed to help generate new business which is fine.

GOTY editions normally come with DLC that's available to everyone, not with content unavailable to others.

Haven't read a single review for the game and I'll be buying it.
Not because I'm wealthy or irresponsible but because I like the videos I have seen, the info from interviews and what I got from the demo.
My opinion is all that matters. I personally put very little if any faith in reviews. Especially this gen.

The advent of Socom 4 and Killzone 3 will mark the day I buy Playstation Move. Been very impressed with the videos I've seen of how Move has been implemented in those games.

This is a very very good looking game, I'll definitely be buying it as the demo impressed but Uncharted 2 visual quality it most certainly is not.

Ninja Theory made a fantastic looking game graphics wise for PS3 with Heavenly Sword, the only problem with it was load times and having to wait almost 2 minutes to reload every time you died.
That was a launch title though so no real surprises there.

L4D2 isn't much of a resource hog tbh. The graphics in their games are hardly amazing either, they certainly look good but they aren't by any means jaw dropping.
You can run a lot of Valve games pretty well with an average PC.
