God of War 3 Ultimate Trilogy Edition pretty much trounces all others.
The GT5 Signature Edition will be pretty nice too.

God of War is my favourite Playstation franchise and the Kratos character model is the best on any console this gen, period. Of course the models in UC2 were pretty awesome also.
As for brutality, the game really started out as it meant to go on what with how you finished off Poseidon and all.

But surely you're not ignorant enough that you're unable to see why people thought the "meh" was aimed at the review/score rather than the game?

Halo: Reach was the only big thing released in September and it's the 360's flagship franchise.
I'd say anyone who expected something different in September is delusional.
The only other thing to really release was Playstation Move but even Sony didn't expect it to sell absolutely massive numbers.
So yeah, of course MS were going to clean up in September.

I'm not a Lovefilm subscriber, never was keen on having movies posted as I'm very impulsive when it comes to movie watching.
If Lovefilm have a decent subscription model I may well be interested though. I've never paid much attention to them if I'm honest but the ability to stream it to my TV via my PS3 is quite an interesting feature and now has me taking notice. I suspect the addition of Netflix to the 360 (and later to the PS3) probably had the same effect ...
Don't care for Sky Player tbh...my Sky+ HD Box is so much better. Hell even a regular Sky+ box is better than any form of the Sky Player be it on the 360 or your laptop.
Things like BBC iPlayer, Netflix, Lovefilm, ITV Player are awesome for 360/PS3 because those are naturally hooked up to your TV and the only other way to get em is on your PC/Mac. Those kind of things to me are more desireable than the likes of Sky Player, even though the SP 360 app does work quite well...
Having tried only one control scheme is not a basis for comparison when deciding which one you prefer.
Being comfortable with one is fine, but you can't really say you prefer it over another without actually having tried it.
"I don't care to try another control scheme" would be a more appropriate thing to say rather than you basically don't like a control scheme you've never tried.
KZ3 with Move might end up sucking ...
The Move demo videos I've seen for KZ3 look great, I'll certainly be at least trying this game with Move along with Socom 4
How can you prefer DS3 to Move for KZ3 when you haven't tried it?
It's not like this is gonna be a clunky Wii-mote experience.
Nothing wrong with preferring the DS3 over Move for it, but you can't really say which you prefer unless you have a basis for comparison.
Just on that competent game comment, I have to disagree.
Now I havem't played Enslaved so can't comment on it either way but I personally thought Heavenly Sword was a fantastic game that I only had 2 problems with.
First was that it was a bit short and secondly there were some terrible load times, had to run through a long load time every time you died too which was annoying.
Other than that, great game...certainly competent.

I have to say that this is an opinion piece I most certainly disagree with. The part about the 360 being a better media device.
What is this U-Verse service though, is it a paid subscription service or what? Will you have to pay for that plus be a Gold subscriber?
Either way it'll be a nice feature for 360 owners in the US that want to use it. Pretty useless to us in the rest of the world.
